June. A beautiful month, isn't it? It's always warm, but never too warm. A refreshing breeze sweeps past you, your flowing hair going along with it. You close your eyes, enjoying the peace in your life.
That's what it was like in Evertalia.
Sophie sat in a field near the palace, watching the long grass around her sway in the wind. Her mind was, for once, free of the horrors that had happened six years ago. She was now focused on the present, where there was peace and no Neverseen.
"Sophie?" She turned around, and took in the sight of her husband. Fitz smiled at her, and took a seat beside her. "I was looking for you."
She smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I needed some air. All that royalty stuff tends to get a bit much sometimes."
Fitz chuckled. "Tell me about it. Being King of a kingdom can be very tiring."
Sophie smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. Taking a deep breath, she felt at peace. Whenever she was with him, her mind felt clear and comfortable. I mean, who wouldn't with a drop-dead gorgeous and kind husband?
"Sophie?"
"Yes?"
"Are you happy?"
She rose her head and looked in his teal eyes. The question confused her. Why would he ask that? Did she not look happy?
"Of course I'm happy. Why wouldn't I be?"
He seemed to contemplate his answer. She watched as he made his adorable thinking face; eyebrows furrowed, eyes looking down, biting his lip. "You had such a tough life. I know how past experiences can haunt one's self."
He looked straight into her eyes and repeated his question. "Are you happy?"
Wow. He really made her think about that.
She thought over her past. She had her parents murdered when she was only three years old. She had had to be adopted, yet was lucky to have the best second parents ever. Then, years later, her life changed forever with the destruction of her village. The weeks that had followed had her fighting for hers and the life of others. And, then of course, being held hostage for weeks.
But her mind shifted to the good things that had happened. Her family. Her friends. The good memories. Fitz. So, as she surveyed the large beautiful field around her, she came up with her answer.
"Yes."

The end!
So, what happened to the couple of Sophitz? Well, when they returned the the palace after ending the Neverseen, Sophie took a long time to recover for the both mental and physical wounds from being held captive. She had continuous nightmares, and she had scars that would stay with her forever. However, with the help of Fitz, she slowly recovered.
Fitz, on the other hand, also had wounds. Since he injured his foot severely, he always had a small limp, not very noticeable. He had no other lasting injuries.
The two started officially dating about a few months later, once Sophie felt ready to start something new. And, wait another two years, then Fitz was eligible to become king! There came the coronation, and of course a wedding.
Three years after the final scene, Sophie realized that she was expecting (for you young children who don't know what that means, it means she was pregnant:). Woah! The kingdom was bewildered. She gave birth the a little girl, who was surnamed Caerwyn, after the friendly knight who helped Sophie find Fitz. She had chocolate brown hair as well as beautiful brown eyes, and she was the kindest to be known.
Sophie and Fitz lived a long, happy life together, loving each other for all of eternity.La Fin ~
