"Excuse me?" A middle-aged man asked Brad and I as we set-up for his busking set, then Brad went ahead and entertained the man as I continued setting up.

"What can I do for you?" Brad asked, then I decided to eavesdrop.

"I saw you pass by at the tea shop, and I saw that you two were setting up here. Can you please help me out? Do you take requests?"

"Absolutely. What song would you like?"

"I need you to sing Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer when my date and I go to watch you. I really, really want to kiss him, but I'm not sure if he wants to kiss me back, and I'm really nervous. I need the boost?"

"That's very romantic. And, of course, I will do it for you. What's your name so I can point it out when you come here?"

"Dave. And my date's name is Heath."

"Okay. Anything else you'd like for us to do? Maybe my assistant, Cai, can buy you gifts that you can give to him?"

"There's a lady by the other street that sells flowers. Maybe a rose at the end of the song will be nice?" Dave said, then I stood up and saw that he was already digging for money in his wallet.

"I'll be glad to buy it. I'll pick the nicest rose just for you," I said, then Dave smiled as he handed me some money.

"That's kind of you. Keep the change, it's what I'm paying this guy to sing me the song," Dave said as he rushed so his date won't get suspicious, and after seeing that he's paid us a good amount of money, I bought the rose while Brad started with the first song of his setlist.

When Brad was in the middle of his fourth song, I saw Dave and Heath joining in the crowd. When Brad finished his song and looked at me, I subtly nodded my head toward the couple, then he gave me a small smile before speaking to the crowd again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for coming in and having a listen to my set. Before I end, however, a special guy came up to me and asked for a song request right before I started. So, without further ado, my last song will be Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer, as requested by Dave for his lovely date, Heath," Brad said before strumming the chords to the song, then I looked over at Dave then at Heath, who looked stunned.

Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

Brad looked at the couple as he sang, which put a bigger smile on Heath's face. He glanced at Dave, who was also smiling, then he looked back at Brad, who was then looking at the crowd.

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band
And make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
