Enhypen's Niki - Drowning

Niki's POV 

"YAY, WERE GOING TO THE BEACH" I screamed running around packing up my stuff. Jungwon Hyung had just told us that we were going. Everyone was excited but not as much as I was. The nice ocean breeze, the smell of the ocean, the sand underneath your feet. The beach is a magical place. We all got ready pretty quickly and set off. The whole time we were goofing off and talking about who's going to build the biggest sand castle.

"It's obviously going to be me, I said with a smirk. None of you are good". 

"Yeah yeah you won't be saying that after you see my castle" Jake Hyung said proudly. We just kept going back and forth until we finally reached the beach. We got all of our things and walked to the far end of the beach. Once we got situated we began the contest. We were all very serious about this contest. The winner got bragging rights. So you all know how competitive we are.

"Ok times up. Drop your tools and back away from your castle," our manager said. We all did as told and looked at our castles with pride. Our manager went over all of our castles and he had a winner. "The winner is …… Niki". 

"YES HA HA I TOLD YOU I WOULD WIN". I guess Jay Hyung didn't like what I said. He grabbed some sand and threw it at me. 

"Hey, oh this is war" I grabbed a big handful of sand and chuck it at everyone I saw. Even our poor manager got hit. By the time we were done all of your castles were gone and we were all covered in sand. Which then gave me an idea. 

"Jake Hyung, can I bury you under the sand please?" 

"Why not? I'm already covered in it". We all had a partner and we buried them. They had to break out and see who would make it out first. This time it was Sunghoon Hyung. 

Sunghoon's POV

"Ha ha yes I won suckers" I said sticking out my tongue. I didn't seem to see Heeseung Hyung. He came at me so quickly and tackled me into the sand.

"Uhh Hyung" I whined. He just chuckled.

"Ok well I think we should all take a rinse off in the water,'' Jungwon said, looking at us all. It was silent. We all stared at each other and then bolted to the water. 

"I'M HERE FIRST" Sunoo yelled. We all just splashed him with water. 

"Hey" he said, splashing back. And that's how this war broke loose.

Niki's POV 

We were now splashing each other with water and it was lots of fun. I had a great time watching and messing around with them. I was just floating and laughing watching them have a good time. I didn't realize that I was floating farther away. It finally hit me when I felt myself drifting a little too much. I was then hit by a big wave . 

"Oh sh-" I was tossed under and tried to get back up for air. But I wasn't too lucky because another wave came and dragged me back under. At this point I was choking on water and my chest was burning. I do think I drank some water on the way down, which probably wasn't good. My eyes stung and I just wanted to be back on the sand.

"HYUNGS HELP ME PLEA-" I was taken back under and this time I was too weak to get back up. I watched as the surface got farther and farther away from me. Underwater it was quiet and calm. I just closed my eyes in defeat, thinking about the memories I had made today.

Heeseung's POV 

"HYUNGS HELP ME PLEA-" I looked over and saw Niki get taken under by a wave. 

"HYUNGS COMING NIKI'' I yelled. I told the others to get out and get a spot ready for him. I swam and went under water to see Niki slowly drowning. His eyes were closed and his body was sinking. I grabbed him and we were in a rip current so I had to swim in the opposite direction. That's how he probably drowned. I was able to bring him back to land and the other took him from there. 

"You ok Hyung," Sunoo said. 

"Yeah I'm fine Nikis not though, I think he drank some of the water". 

Jake's POV 

Jungwon had called an ambulance and I had started chest comparisons. 

"Come buddy don't die here not now" I said, tears started to form in my eyes. I did this until help came. We rushed to the hospital and were put in a waiting room. I was crying at this point we all were. We all probably felt the same way. If he dies it's your fvcking fault. 

The doctor then came to get us. We were walked to his room and before we went in he told us his condition. 

"Ok so Mr. Niki had a lot of water in his lungs. We had to drain it out so that's why when you walk in you'll see a tube sticking out of his mouth. He died but was droughted back 2 times. He is stable now and should be able to go home soon". 

"Ok thank you doctor" our manager said. We all walked in and saw a pale boy laying there. He looked so fragile. We all pulled up a chair and sat there waiting for him to wake up. He was knocked out for a while. Even when the draining was done he was still out cold. 

Niki's POV 

I woke up to a very bright light. Did I die? I whispered and some answered "no you're just in the hospital, Niki". I looked around to see my members right beside me.

"Oh that's good". The doctors explained everything that happened and some people would probably be scared of the ocean after this experience. Well I wasn't. I just knew what to do next time. I wanted to have more good memories like earlier today and no fear was going to stop me.
