Enhypen's Jungwon - Hit by a car

Jungwon's POV 

It was 12:00 by the time I had stepped foot outside of the HYBE building. This week was rough. We were going on world tours soon, our comeback promotions, meetings left and right. All I wanted to do on this quiet Friday night was go home and pass out on my bed. Let my worries be forgotten for a while. They had a driver come to take me home but I decided I wanted to walk. To clear my head. It was a beautiful night anyway. So I told the driver he could go and I watched as he drove off and turned the corner. I made my way down the block and once I turned I saw a big crowd of people. Guess someone was throwing something. I thought maybe I should've taken the ride. But I shrugged that thought off and focused on my surroundings again. There were a lot of people. And when I say a lot, I mean it's like someone invited their friends and their friends invited their friends and those friends invited their friends, cousins, Aunts, Uncles. Yeah it was that many people. As I made my way down the street I ducked and dived through the crowd, the smell of alcohol was strong. People smoking left and right. I was getting choked up. People kept shoving me and I lost my balance. I bumped into some guy and I kept apologizing, I didn't want to get into any fight. Like I said earlier, all I wanted to do was go home, have a nice meal, a nice hot shower and pass out in my bed. 

"I'm sorry"

"Hey kid, watch where you're going".

I tried to walk away but he grabbed the back of my jacket.

"Don't walk away when your elders are talking to you,'' he said all up in my face. 

He reeked of alcohol and had a cigarette in his mouth. I wanted to tell him piss off and that he should stop smoking and drinking. But I kept it to myself. 

The guy showed no signs of calming down or letting me go so I used all those years of taekwondo to get out of his grasp. 

Once I was free I sprinted. Shoving through the crowd to get away from this crazy drunk. When I looked back at him, he and his friends were chasing me. Wow, I can't believe they're trying to jump a kid. So much for a relaxing evening walk. I heard more people yelling, so I turned around and saw multiple people yelling at me and trying to grab me. Dang what did I do to make everyone so upset with me. I turned around and saw bright headlights coming my way.

I woke up on the ground and my body was throbbing in pain. My vision was blurry and I heard lots of people talking around me. I tried to understand what they were saying. All I could make out was Fight…..lawsuit……kid……jail…..hospital…… and then I stopped listening. I was tired and I finally got a chance to rest. I closed my eyes and let this stressful week slip away. 

Heeseung's POV 

It was now 12:30 in the morning and we were all nervously sitting in the front room waiting for Jungwon to come home. We had called the company and they said that he had left a couple of minutes ago. So I don't know why it was taking so long. We had called him multiple times but it always went to voicemail. 

"Why isn't he picking up?" I said running a hand through my hair. I was nervously pacing the room. 

"Hyung sit down, you look like you're about to pass out, please sit down,'' Sunoo said, grabbing my arm and guiding me to the couch. 

"Something must be wrong, he should be home by now" I said. 

"Don't say that, let's think positively," Jay said. 

Let's try calling him again, Niki said. I was about to call on my phone when it started to ring. The caller ID was Jungwon. 

"Hello Jungwon, where are you, are you ok," but the voice on the other end wasn't Jungwon. 

"Hello, I'm sorry this isn't Jungwon. This is one of the doctors from the hospital. This was the emergency contact in his phone".

"Wait, why is he in the hospital is everything, ok". 

"Well he was hit by a car. He has two broken ribs, a broken arm and some bruises, but that's pretty much it".

"Can we come see him?" Sunghoon asked.

"Yeah, but you'll need to hurry because visiting hours are over soon".

Jungwon's POV 

"He will be able to leave as soon as he gets the ok from the doctor".

I spent 4 days in the hospital and was finally able to leave. But they sent me home with some oxygen to help me breathe better. Cause while I was in the hospital I would have coughing attacks and could barely breathe. So this would help. I would need help getting from place to place because I couldn't really move that much without being in pain. But we got 2 months off so that was a plus. The people who had hit me came to the company and apologized. I was asked if I wanted to press charges but I said no because it was also my fault for not paying attention to where I was going. So out of everything that happened that day I learned, just take the ride that was given to you. Oh and also watch where you're going.
