Enhypen's Niki - Appendicitis

Niki's POV 

My stomach has been hurting for a bit now and I don't know what's going on. I think it's a stomach bug, but I'm not sure. Today when I woke up there were sharp pains on my right hand side. I just shook it off. All we had was vocal practice and we could chill for the rest of the day. I'll just take some painkillers for it. As the day went on I started to be in more pain. It would hurt to walk and I would have to hide my pained expressions from the others so they won't worry about me. They've all had some worries and things that looked like it was keeping them occupied. So I didn't want to add more to that. 

Today we were in dance practice and we were given a 15 minute break. I laid out on the floor bringing my hand to my right side. Ahh man why does it hurt so bad. Suddenly I got a wave of nausea that ran over me. I sat up and it felt like the world was spinning. I got up and tried to balance myself out. I got questioned looks from the others.

"Hey Niki are you ok, you look kind of pale" Jake Hyung asked slowly, walking over to me with a bottle of water. He uncapped it and handed it to me.

"Y-yeah I'm fine I just need to go to the bathroom real quick" before anyone could further question me I walked out the room.

The water Jake Hyung gave me only wanted to make me throw up even more. It was thick and heavy when it went down my throat. I stumbled into the bathroom and threw up. I stayed there for a bit to make sure I was good. Before I flushed the toilet I saw something in the toilet bowl that caught my attention. Blood? Why did I throw up blood? That can't be good right? I flushed the toilet and went to fix myself up. I looked in the mirror and I was super pale. I look gross, I mumbled to myself. I splashed some water on my face and fix up my hair to look decent enough. As I was walking back to our dance room I heard people cheering and yelling. What's going on? 

Once I opened the door I saw our manager smiling and my members jumping around.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"You boys are going to see your friends again. The 4 debuting line of &audition". When those words came out of his mouth I started celebrating as well. We've seen them around the building before but didn't get the chance to actually talk with them. So this was exciting and something I can't miss. After we calmed down I felt the effects of my celebration. We were told that we were going to meet them at 4:00pm today and it was now 2:00pm. So we were taken home to freshen up. Before I knew it, it was 3:50pm and we were being put into cars to go back to the company building. The movement of the car wasn't helping my upcoming nausea. I had threw up before we left with more blood coming up. I made a promise to myself that after this meeting I would ask for help. When we got out I clinged onto Jay Hyung and let him lead me to the meeting spot. I saw him giving me worried glances, but I couldn't focus on that because the pain would always draw my attention. 

When we walked in we were met by Taki,
EJ Hyung, K Hyung and Nicholas Hyung. When me and Taki made eye contact we bolted towards each other and engulfed each other in a hug. 

"It's been a while, good to see you,'' he said, patting my back.

"You too man, I missed you".

"I missed you too", we continued to greet each other and then sat down to talk. Lots of different conversations were going on at once. Some were interested about life being a popular group. Some were talking about random nonsense they saw online. Me and Taki were chatting away when a wave of nausea hit me again. The pain on my right side slowly started to come back as well. I barely noticed it because of how excited I was but now that it had died down a bit the pain became my main focus. 

"Hey you ok" Taki asked me, running his hand through my hair. 

"Y-yeah". He just looked at me suspiciously but continued talking about how he and K Hyung successfully scared Nicholas Hyung. 

Not to long after Taki started talking again our manager came in with pizza and soda for everyone. We all thanked him and everyone but me dug in. The smell of the pizza was making it harder for me to not throw up everywhere. That would honestly be a disaster if I did.

"Niki, why aren't you eating?" EJ Hyung asked, drawing all the attention to me. 

"Oh-uhm I'm not really hungry,'' I said , trying to quickly move on.

"But you only had a granola bar and an apple today, you should eat more,'' Jungwon Hyung said, pushing a plate of pizza my way. 

"Ok" I mumbled. I stared at the pizza and took a small bite. I didn't miss all the small glances I was getting though. That small bite went down my throat heavily. I looked at the pizza that sat on my plate. All the grease that sat ontop. My stomach pain pulled me out of thought and I bolted to the nearest trash can. I heard voices but they sounded muffled. 

"Ni…..ki…. Are… you ok….." my brain barely registered that. I took my head out of the trash can and looked around. The last person I saw was Taki. He was crying. What's wrong? Did he get hurt?

"Taki, what's wrong?"

"I can't believe he was this stupid" 

"He should of told someone"

Taki? Jake Hyung? 

I opened my eyes and quickly closed them due to a bright light that shined in my eyes. 

"Lights, turn off lights" I groaned.

"Sorry, how are you feeling bud" Sunoo Hyung asked. I opened my eyes and saw everyone crowding my bed and our manager in the back. Some looked angry like Taki, Heeseung Hyung and K Hyung. Some looked confused, worried, like Jake, Sunoo and Jungwon Hyung. 

"Niki, why didn't you tell us you weren't feeling good? The doctor said that your appendix bursts and if we hadn't brought you in then it would have been fatal" Heeseung Hyung spat out.

"I'm sorry" I whispered 

"Niki, you could have died, do you understand that?" Taki said , tears streaming down his face. 

"I didn't know that. I thought I was just some stomach bug or something". 

"But you didn't tell anyone either," Sunghoon  Hyung said.

"How long has this been going on?" Jay hyung questioned.

"Uhm a couple of days"

"And how many times have you thrown up?" 

"Like 3 times, I only started throwing up recently".

"And did it have blood in it each time".

"Yeah" I said quietly.

"Niki then why didn't you say anything, throwing up blood isn't normal" K Hyung said shaking his head.

"I was going too, but then I heard about us coming to meet up with you guys and I didn't want to miss that. We haven't seen each other in a while and I didn't want to be the one to mess it up for everyone".

"Niki, you wouldn't have messed anything up. We could have even come to you," EJ Hyung said , patting my head. 

"Yeah as long as you're healthy that's all we care about. We could have even rescheduled if that was needed" Nicholas Hyung said, giving a small smile. 

Taki had stopped crying but as everyone was talking to me he had slowly moved closer and closer towards me. He slowly sat on the bed and started to get comfortable next to me. He put my head on his shoulder and I chuckled.

"You comfortable yet?" I asked laughing

"Very,'' he said , giving me his bright smile.
