Enhypen's Jungwon- Allergic Reaction

Jungwon’s POV

"EN O’CLOCK" we all yelled. Today we were filming En o'clock and we all had no clue what was going on. 

"So what are we doing"? Jake Hyung said, sitting down at the long table that was set up. 

"I have no clue, no one told us anything," Jay Hyung said. 

A staff member then ran up to Niki and gave him a card to read aloud. 

"Today you guys will be testing your skills. You will be blindfolded and have to guess the food. You have a minute each. The one with the most points wins". When he finished reading more staff members came with covered food plates. 

"Who wants to go first"? I asked.

"ME" and it was a chain reaction after that. Everyone was shouting. I just laughed, they were so chaotic. The order went like this: Sunghoon Hyung, Jake Hyung, Jay Hyung, Sunoo Hyung, Niki, Heeseung Hyung, Me. I didn't mind going last. 

"Ok, first up is Sunghoon Hyung," Sunoo said, putting the blindfold over his eyes. 

"Ready Hoonie," Jay Hyung said, grabbing the plate of food. 

"Yessss," Jay Hyung uncovered the plate and it was strawberries.

"Oh this should be easy," Niki said.

He ate the strawberries and his face lit up. 

"Ahhhh it's easy," he sang happily. 

"Ok, what's the answer?" Heesung Hyung said.

"STRAWBERRIES"

"CORRECT" 

"Ahh that was too easy, '' he said, taking off the blindfold.

"One point for Sunghoon". The rest of my members went and they got everything right. Jake Hyung got chocolate, Jay Hyung got french fries, Sunoo Hyung got cookie dough ice cream, Niki got broccoli, and Heeseung Hyung got hot peppers. It was my turn.

"MY MOUTH IS BURNING" Heeseung Hyung yelled before drinking milk the staff gave him. 

"Ok, my turn," I said , sitting down, letting Jake Hyung put the blindfold on me.

"Ready, Wonie," I heard Sunghoon Hyung say.

"Readyyyy"

When I took a bite, I was confused. It tasted like a cookie but I couldn't really pinpoint the flavor. 

"Can I have another bite, please". I took another bite and it was a little clearer now. 

"Peanut Butter cookies"

"CORRECT"

I froze, I'm severely allergic to peanut butter. Even if I eat a little bit of it, it's dangerous to me. I didn't tell anyone because I could handle it. All I had to do was not eat peanut butter, which I was doing a fantastic job at until now. 

I put a smile on my face and tried to sit through the rest of the ending. We wrapped it up and once the cameras cut, I sprinted to my bag. I heard my name being called but I was panicking. My throat was starting to close up and my stomach started to ache. I dumped out my bag and looked through my things but my Epipen wasn't in there. No, I forgot to pack it this morning. We were in a hurry. 

"Hyung what’s going on, did you lose something?" Niki said, coming up to me. The others following close behind. My eyes started to tear up and I  couldn't breathe.

"I-im a-allergic to peanu-t bu-tt-er" I said, trying to calm down. My tears started flowing and everything started going downhill from there. I saw spots in my vision, Jay and Jake Hyung were trying to calm me down while everyone else was running around trying to find an emergency one in the med kit at the company. 

"Wonie looked at us and breathe in and out, in and out,'' Jake Hyung said. 

"I-i c-an’t b-reathe Hy-ung" I said gasping for air. I started to get dizzy and I threw up all over the floor.

"S-sorry," my vision faded and I was slowly being sucked into a dark black void.

Heeseung’s POV

"I FOUND IT" I screamed running back into the room. I had found the extra Epipen in another room. I gave it to Jay and he stabbed it into his leg. Jungwon had hives starting to form on his arms. 

"WHY ISN’T HE WAKING UP" the director yelled in panic.

"The Epipen is doing its job, just be patient,'' Jake snapped. 

We all huddled around but not to close. We saw Jungwon’s eyes flicker open and he instantly threw up. 

"You're ok, good get it all up" Jake said rubbing his back. 

"THE AMBULANCE IS HERE" a staff member yelled. They loaded Jungwon into the ambulance and Jay went with him.

Jungwon’s POV

I went to the hospital and the doctor was talking to my members.

"Jungwon had a severe allergic reaction. He’s lucky to be alive right now". She then turned to me. 

"Jungwon, you have to be careful and make sure you pack your Epipen. This could have been a disaster".

"I’m sorry we were running late and I forgot about it,'' I said , hanging my head low.

"It's fine, but I don't want to see you in the ER again, got it".

"Got it". They kept me in the hospital for a little bit to monitor me. My doctor taught everyone how to use an Epipen, just in case of another emergency. Then my members told my doctor that I didn't tell them about my allergy.

"WHAT, Jungwon, that's so reckless. Why would you not tell them?" All eyes were on me and I felt tears threatening to fall. Niki then ran and pulled me into a hug.

"Shhh it's ok, Hyung," he said, patting my head.

"I-im sorry, I didn't think it was a big deal. I managed well on my own so I thought there was no need to tell them" I said through sobs. 

"Jungwon, I get why you think that, but you need to be careful. What if your friends didn't find an Epipen in time or the ambulance was stuck somewhere. What would you do then? You can't be taking risks, ok" the doctor said.

 I just nodded. I was discharged and ever since then my members would make sure I had my Epipen and would check the label on the food, before I ate it.
