Chapter Five

It was Monday.

Snow's mom dropped her off at school, a cold and breezy morning.

"Bye mom!" Snow said slamming the car and hurrying toward's the school entrance.

"Bye! Have a great day." Snow's mom said then she drove off.

It was 7:46 a.m, they all attended Eagle View High School public school. They all lived in Los Angeles, California, while Snow, Gabby, and Brianna lived in the city, Lily lived on the rich side of Beverly Hills.

Gabby and Brianna were already there, in the courtyard waiting for Snow.

"Heyy." said Snow, burying her hands deep down in her jacket pocket.

"It's freezing," Gabby nodded cluttering her teeth.

I'm freezing!" Brianna was blowing into her hands, "Y-yeah."

A limo pulled, and everyone turned their heads to see, Lily got out of the limo. Snow, Gabby, and Brianna didn't understand why everyone was so shocked to see when Lily arrived, they had seen the limo at least hundred times.

Lily rushed to over them, Paige one of the popular girls grabbed her by the arm and whispered something in her ear, Lily looked confused and shook her head, then she walked to where her friends were.

"It's freezing! Good thing I bought my beanie!" She said burying her hands deep in her coat pockets. Snow frowned.

"Yeah , what did Paige want?"

Paige one of the most popular girls in the entire school, and her minions always wanted to Lily to be one of the popular girls, since she was rich, but Lily always decline since she didn't want to be the popular girl.

"You know, trying to get me to join in their snobby group, besides what sucks is that she is my neighbor across the street," she said rolling her eyes.

Paige wasn't exactly their enemy, just a annoying girl.

"So! Guess what, I have some news!" Brianna said happily. Lily turned to her.

"What is it? Tell us" Brianna took a deep breath.

"Well, my parents said they are going to take us to New York!" she exclaimed then let out a squeal.

Lily's eyes widen and did a quick clap.

"Oh my gosh! Yess, New York, cheesecakes!" Lily said, adjusting her hat. Snow, Gabby, and Brianna laughed.

Jojo and  Hyun-hoo walked up to them

"Hey,"

"Hey," they said back.

"So! Are you guys going to the Winter Dance?" Jojo asked, Lily looked at her friends.

Gabby looked down "I don't know," Jojo looked at Snow and winked.

The bell ring, they headed to their classes, Lily, Jojo, Snow, and Hyun-hoo all had chemistry.

Snow sat down, and wonder if Jojo was going to ask her go the dance, she wish but for now Chemistry class!

The chemistry teacher gave out a pop quiz. Everyone groaned except Lily, she didn't mind pop quizzes.

Snow couldn't concentrate she kept thinking about the dance, no matter how she tried to focus she couldn't. She did a quick prayer to get the dance off her mind and focus on the quiz.

After the pop quiz, it was the lesson. After Chemistry, math, physical education, and English it was lunchtime.

Lily, Gabby, Snow and Brianna all sat down at their usual time. Jojo was walking with Hyun-hoo.

"Jojo, I don't know what's wrong with me" Jojo looked at him and raised his eyebrow.

"What?" he said a bit confused. Hyun-hoo sighed and looked at Lily.

"Yeah...Lily and Brianna.

Jojo's eyes widen

"Lily?!" Hyun-hoo nodded nervously.

Jojo shook his head "Why? I mean Lily is a very nice and all... " Hyun-hoo looked  at him.

"I don't know, she is funny, nice, everything you want in a girlfriend, Brianna is like Lily, nice, pretty and sweet,"

"But, anyway, who are you going to ask to the dance, Hyun?" Jojo said looking at Lily.

What Jojo and Hyun-hoo didn't know is that Brianna has a crush on Felix.

"Brianna, I know you are going to ask Snow out, ask her already," Hyun-hoo said. Jojo nodded.

"Mhm, yeah, or Levi will ask her first,"

Back with Lily, Snow, Gabby, and Brianna.

"I really hope Levi asks me out," said Gabby opening her bag of chips. Snow panicked.

Snow also liked Jojo. What surprised her that Lily didn't know. And she usually knows everything.

But Snow only likes Jojo, but she had a tiny weeny crush on Levi.

After lunch, it was history, science, Algebra, and their other classes.

Lily, Snow, Gabby, and Brianna all decide go for Boba tea, they hang out, finally they all went home. Snow kept thinking when suddenly she felt someone grabbed her by the arm, she turn around and Jojo!

"Jojo!" Snow said completely surprised.

"Sorry I startled you, but I need to ask something," he said a bit. Nervousness in his tone.

Snow nodded, Jojo slowly took her hand "Will you go to the winter dance with me?" Snow felt her cheeks turning red.

"Okay," she said with confidence Jojo asked her out to the dance!

He smiled, and hurried to his house. Snow went home, her parents weren't home. Her mom worked as a nurse and her dad worked as a lawyer.

She went inside, and went to her bedroom. She was so happy Jojo asked her out. She decided to do her homework, but couldn't concentrate since she was so excited.
