Throughout the first week of May was stressful. Tests and a bunch of homework. Snow, Gabby, and Brianna it was a all a stressful week for them. Lily not really since she spend most of her time with the members of the baking club. She did try her best to motivate her friends from preventing them from having a mental down.
In math, there was a test coming up. Snow rushed home to get her homework done and have time for studying.
As soon as school was over, Snow rushed home and went to her room. She got started on her homework. After she finished, she studied for the math test. She turn off her phone and closed her curtains to cut off distractions and focused. After 2 hours of studying, Snow decided to stop for now and rest a bit. Her mom arrived from work.
"Chloe!" Snow's mom called out. Snow slowly went downstairs. "Hi, mom." Snow's mom looked at her and gave her a big hug. "Sweetie, how was school?"
"Fine, I guess,"
"Is it hard?"
"Eh, I guess,"
Snow's mom smiled, "Don't push yourself until you hurt yourself, okay?" Snow nodded. Then she realized she forgot to make dinner.
"Oh, mom. I forgot to prepare dinner, sorry. I was studying and doing homework." Snow's mom smiled. "That's okay, studying and homework is important, don't worry, I bought dinner. Chinese food!" Snow smiled, "Thanks, mom."
Snow and her mom sat down and had dinner. Chinese food. While they were chatting and laughing, Snow asked.
"When is dad coming home?" Snow's mom sighed. "I suppose late. He has a case to handle, a very difficult one he told me when he called me." Snow nodded. "I see."
After dinner, Snow went upstairs and lay on her bed. She checked her phone and scrolled through Instagram then recieved a text from Jojo. She couldn't help but blushed a little, she immediately texted him back. Gabby texted her and they were texting back until Gabby said she had to go.
Snow opened her window to let the fresh air in. She rested her arms on the windows stool and looked out. It was getting dark and Snow could already see the moon, it was a half moon. The neighborhood was quiet except for cars passing and people walking. Snow wanted to go where she and her friends would just go and chill while looking out the view of the city. Snow decided to wait until her parents were asleep to take the chance.
Snow's dad arrived and Snow and her mom were asleep, well Snow was just fake sleeping. Once she heard her dad was in her parents bedroom, she snuck out.
Snow put on a jacket and luckily the window was big enough for her to get out. While she was outside, she hurried to the area. She was walking on the sidewalk enjoying the peaceful night and chilly air.
She arrived to a two tall building that wasn't used, but there was a way to get to the rooftop and get a good view of the Los Angeles city. Snow went around and there was a staircase. She got up to the rooftop. No one really knew about it. It was the girls little secret. When it was Snow's date with Jojo, she wanted to show him the secret hang out, but realized it would be giving away the secret. So she decided not to anymore.
Snow got to the rooftop and sat down. She took a deep breathe. She let the air mess with her hair as the cool air went in her lungs. She had so much going on her life recently. Such as getting in a small fight with Lily. They didn't spoke to each other for 2 weeks. Gabby and Brianna were able to get the two to reconcile. Snow has been getting high praises from her teachers, getting straight A's, tied with Lily. As well as going on dates with Jojo
Snow didn't want to leave, she let her thoughts whirled in her head. She continued watching the city and felt a moment to be alone. She sighed and lay down watching the sky. A plane flew by. Snow had met Jojo's parents and they were really friendly. Jojo once asked when he could meet Snow's parents but she said soon. She was nervous about her dad. He was quite protective of his daughter. Snow planned on showing her boyfriend to her dad when she was 18, but knew it could be impossible for a lot of reasons.
Snow decided to go back. She got up, went down the stairs and hurried home. It was 2:30 a.m. She managed to get back in the window and got on her bed. She sighed and turn and tossed. Finally at 3:00, she fell asleep.
