Friends

Chapter Eight.

The next day at school there was a announcement. The winter dance was canceled due to some problems and switching up things. Everyone was bummed except Lily.

At lunchtime that's what everyone was talking about: The Cancel Winter Dance. Lily tried cheering up her friends but they were still pretty sad.

"I wanted to spend some time with Jojo!" Snow whined as she popped a baby carrot in her mouth.

Everyone was surprised since Snow wouldn't care a bit. But here she was whining about a dance.

Lily rolled her eyes "Don't act like that, sheesh it's just a dance. You can ask Jojo out and boom! You spend time with him,"  Snow looked at her sadly,

"Yeah, but Lily!" Gabby quietly ate her salad, Lily was pretty right. Just a dance  it's not like they were going to a special event or something although the dance was pretty exciting.

Brianna ate her noodles while looking from Lily to Snow. She agreed with Lily but at the same thing with Snow, pretty neutral.

"Anyway, ready for our trip? To New York?" Lily asked happily. Snow didn't say anything.

"Oh yes! I'm so ready! I heard when it's Christmas in New York, it's so beautiful!" Gabby said excitedly.

Brianna nodded happily in agreement. Lily sighed when she saw Snow still look sad, she leaned over and gave her a big slap on her face, she looked at her surprise.

"Don't act surprise. Can't believe you put a boy first and then your family and friends!" She folded her arms, rolling her eyes. Gabby raised her eyebrows. Brianna huffed.

Snow shook her head and returned to reality "Sorry, okay okay you got me!"  She smiled. They started planning on what they were going to do in New York.

It was the week before winter break. They all began packing. They were going on plane. Lily managed to put them in the first class.

Snow's parents had four weeks off at work. They delivered their presents at Snow's grandma, she wasn't coming with them. Gabby's and Brianna parents were also coming with them, since Snow's parents invited them. Lily was also coming on the trip.

On the December 20th, the date of their trip. Snow and her parents, Lily were all going in their trip. Lily offered them to take the limo but they refused. Gabby and her parents were going in their own car, and Brianna hers, her parents.
