Friends

Chapter Sixteen.

Christmas day had arrived! It was morning they opened their presents. Lily even bought her friend's parents gifts too since they are like their second parents to her. Snow's dad was really shocked he received a Rolex watch from Lily. Since those watches are expensive well some.

Lily was really happy to get BTS postcards and plushies. Snow was also shocked to recieved a diamond necklace (it was the same necklace that Lily stole from the store. After they open presents, they watched Christmas specials and movies.

Lily turn her phone on, she got a text from her brother wishing her a merry Christmas. She frowned she didn't received a merry Christmas from her parents. She sighed and send her parents a text wishing them a merry Christmas. She put her phone in her bag. She looked out the window, the city covered in city just like that song, A White Christmas.

Snow's parents loved their presents they got from their daughter. After some days on the 28th they were going to spend the New Year's in New York as well.

Lily and Snow went out to the plaza, they went to eat something. Brianna and Gabby stayed at Snow's apartment.

Snow noticed a guy staring at Lily, but she had no clue she was looking around. Or probably she look in the corner of her eye the guy staring at her but she ignored it.

"Hey! Look that guy is looking at you!" Snow nudged Lily, she looked at the guy who looked away quickly.

"No, he isn't he is looking away" Snow sighed what a oblivious girl. Lily and Snow decided to go a fast food place. The guy who looked at Lily was there also. Snow began to wonder if this guy was following them or it was such a coincidence that this guy also came here too.

This guy didn't look like a middle aged man, he looked pretty young like in his early 20's but still, Lily was a teenager.

He looked surprised to see Lily and Snow there. He cleared his throat to get the attention of Lily but she didn't even pay attention, she was busy looking at the menu what she was going to order.

Finally she ordered a burger and fries, Snow also ordered the same thing.

They sat down and the guy also sat down next to the same table as them. Lily's purse fell as she bend down to pick it up the guy immediately bend down to also pick up the purse, he grabbed it first and hand it to Lily.

"Uh..thanks?" Lily said putting her purse on the other side, Snow glanced at Lily with a peculiar expression on her face.

The guy nodded "Your welcome" he said Lily quickly turn to Snow "So! Can't wait for the ball to drop" Snow nodded "I know, almost all the New Yorkers are going to be there" the guy cleared his throat.

"Yeah, it's very beautiful. Fireworks shoot and —" Lily turned to him and frowned.

"Hey,  we are not talking to you, okay? So mind your own business" Snow blinked "Lily!" She hissed, she couldn't believe how rude Lily was acting, yes it was weird for this random guy to suddenly jumped in their conversation but not say it like that.

The guy nodded "I am so sorry, I'm just a New Yorker so...I wanted to tell you what happens" Lily rubbed her forehead "Let's sit at a different table" she said to Snow, but as they were about to get up. The guy suddenly blurted.

"Hey! Are you single? Because you're beautiful!" He said gazing at Lily.

Snow eyes widen, Lily turned around.

"No, I'm taken!" She said quickly just then they announced that Lily and Snow's food was ready. Lily rushed to the counter, grabbed Snow's arm and got the heck out of there. They ran until they arrived at Snow's apartment, they stopped.

Snow turned to Lily "What the hell was that, I have two questions: Do you actually have a boyfriend? And do you know that guy?" Lily was panting finally she looked up at Snow.

"What the- no! I don't have a boyfriend, I'm single. And I do not know that random guy" Snow blinked "Lily, please why were you rude?"

"I wasn't rude! It was weird for him to jump in our conversation. I mean who does that?"

"Lily"

"What?!"

"Can you just please tell me"

"I'm sorry, I had a really bad feeling about him" Lily sighed "It's all right. Want to forget this? And enjoy our New Year?" Snow nodded and hugged Lily.

They went inside. Then at 11:50 p.m they all headed to Times Square. The huge crowd was there.

At exactly 12 the ball dropped, and on the big screen the new year appeared. Fireworks exploded, confetti dropped, and people around were hugging and screaming, jumping up and down.

The girls didn't really had any resolutions for New Year's since even if they did made some, it would be destroyed and ruined it. Give it up.

After New Year's on January 2nd they all returned home. They dropped Lily and then headed home. They were all tired from the trip, the excitement and the adventure...for the girls.
