Lily decided to get her friends to have some fresh air. As well to get slurpees, play basketball and ride on their skateboards. The girls have been stressed and overwhelmed.
She texted her friends if anyone was free. Eveyone was desperate to get away from school for a while and were available. They each got their slurpees. Lily had a basketball and the four of them rode on their skateboards to the basketball court in the park.
"We haven't been on our skateboards in a long time!" Brianna said while slurping on her slurpee. Snow nodded and looked at Lily. "Especially after someone had an accident back three years ago!" Lily laughed nervously.
When Lily was 13 years old, she got into a accident while skateboarding. When the girls went to the skate board park, Lily fell and twisted her ankle so badly. She was rushed to the hospital and had to get a cast on her leg. Her older brother didn't allow her to skateboard until she fully recovered. But after that, Lily had multiple injuries and she wasn't allowed to skateboard after that. Pretty much after 3 years.
They arrived at the basketball court. No one was playing on it so the girls took that opportunity.
"Okay! So who's on who's team?" Gabby asked.
"I will be with Lily, and you can be with Brianna," Snow said while dribbling the ball. Gabby agreed and the girls began playing.
"GET THE BALL!" Brianna yelled, Gabby scored one, Lily scored for her team. After some dribbling and passing, and a lot of cheering. Brianna almost didn't play since she was kinda of like the cheerleader.
Lily announced she was going to be the referre and see who won the game. So that only reminded Snow and Gabby.
The game was fierce.
Snow kept her eye on the ball and on the hoop. She dribbled and did a few tricks and put the ball into the hoop making it the last score. Lily smiled and clapped.
"And the team who wins is Lily and Snow!" She announced. Gabby smiled and turn to Snow.
"Well done, Snow," Snow flipped her hair. "I know," They took a break and sat down. They went to the skateboard park and just had fun skating around. No one was there either.
"Weee!! Ah-!" Brianna fell on her legs but luckily wasn't hurt.
"Wait, I want to try something," Snow said. She skated over to Gabby and grabbed her hands. "Let's see if we can skateboard together!" Gabby sighed. "I don't know, we will probably fall."
"Not if we try," Snow commented. She and Gabby both held hands and try to skateboard together, Gabby was almost right except they were wobbling and almost fell if it wasn't for Lily and Brianna who caught them. After that, they spotted that someone had left some cups.
"That gives me an idea!" Lily said. She turn to her friends."Let's do a cup tower and then...well...just run it over when we skateboard."
So the girls began working on the cups tower and actually did a pretty good job. Lily sat on her skateboard.
"Okay! On the count of three, one...two..." Snow sighed and pushed her already.
"And thr-HEY! I WASN'T READY!!" Lily shrieked as she crashed into the tower of cups. Brianna clapped, Gabby tried not to laugh, Snow smiled much to her satisfaction. Lily sighed, "Well that was that."
After that the girls.decided to go their secret hide-out.
So the girls took on their skateboards and skated to the building. They climbed up the stairs until they reached the rooftop.
It was a warm afternoon. The sky was clear with no clouds and the sun going down behind the city buildings. The girls enjoyed the view and just chilled. They remember some funny memories and also random ones.
"....Yeah, remember when we went to the rollar skating rink? Bri literally kept falling and she ran into some random dude!" Lily said. Brianna turned red. Gabby and Snow both laughed. They kept sharing memories and laughing, overall having a great time.
"Hey! Our first letter of our names is still there," Lily pointed out. Snow saw hers as well as Gabby and Brianna.
When the girls first discovered this building and the rooftop they could literally hang out with no one noticing, they grabbed a black marker and decided to put their first letter of their names on the floor. To make it permanent.
LSGB
"Oh yea, it's still here," Snow remarked, Brianna smiled.
"And if we make another friend, she or he can put their first letter of their name on it to join us!"
"Yeah, there will be of five us," Gabby said.
The girls sat down on the edge of the rooftop and let their legs dangling. They looked at the city view. Lily, Snow, Gabby, and Brianna would always be best friends-no matter what comes in their way.
