Prim POV

Upon entering the next car I saw Peeta Mellark, the person I was going too have to face in the Games, sitting casually in a chairw with his muddy shoes propped up on an expensive wooden table and an apple in his hand. He smirked when he realized that I had entered swallowed another bite of the apple. "You seem a bit short, how old are you, 9?" He asked, a cruel glint in his eyes. "No, you just think I am because then you think of me less of a threat and more like a china doll you can crush. I am going to give you a wake up call and say that I am taller than you will ever be because you have let jealocy destroy your spirit." was my response as I walked to the other side of the cart and through the door, leaving an open mouthed jerk behind me. Through the other door I spotted a teetering Haymitch selecting yet another alcoholic drink from a mutlicolored cart. I was stilled miffed from my encounter with Peeta and seeing our mentor like this set off a beast inside of me that drove me over to the colorful drinks and made me swing my arm out, throwing the containers to the ground, a multicolored stain spreading across the rug like a wildfire. Haymitch's face was one of complete shock at first and then when it regestered he didn't seem to have control over himself as he screamed at me, "You destroyed my drinks, you  little brat!!!" and lunged at me. Just as he reached out for me I followed my gut reaction and dropped to a crouch, my leg swinging into our mentors shin and sent him tumbling to the ground. When he tried to get back up I rolled over and twisted his arm behind his back, my hand secure around his neck. Then he did the most surprising thing I had seen all day, he laughed.
