Hello, I am SO sorry I haven't updated for so long. I was busy, lazy, and had writers block. I hope to make it up to you soon. I will try to update as much as possible in the future. Thanks for reading.
Prim POV
After about an hour of reading I heard the door squeak open. Freaking out, I shoved the book underneath the couch and sprinted over behind a bookshelf. I heard heavy footsteps which led me to believe it was a man and a clinking noise which meant one of two things, either this man was rich or he was holding a glass of alcohol and a bottle to fill it. I sighed and peaked my head out already knowing that it was Haymitch who had stolen my recently used couch. "Hello Prim, it's no use hiding when I know you are already there." "You certainly know where to find me." I replied. "Lets just say that everyone finds there place on this train, their haven even if it is only a few hours." He said. "I guess when a person faces death hours seem like seconds." I started walking towards the couch and noticed the blue liquid he was sipping. "Just so you know child, you are no different from the rest. No one survives the Games. The winners? They are detached and soulless monsters with no beating heart, black holes are all thats left. And those fallen stars used to make a blackhole will continue to suck the life out of them until the winner is dead." He stood up and leaned in, "You will not survive the Games." I looked at him with fury and spoke only the truth, " I know." With that I shoved past him and walked from the room. He yelled after me, "Do you?"
