We had finally gotten to our destination after a half day of travelling and our welcome was not so warm.

Spears were thrown at our feet, missing purposefully just to prove their accuracy. It was a quite a shock to the system since no one originally from The Sea Clan was good with accuracy, we were better with hands on combat.

Our weapons were taken off us and our cart was roughly sifted through.

After a long while of arguing and reasoning, we were finally allowed to see the person in charge, the commander.

We were led into a large building that looked to have been white once but now was covered in thick brush and stubborn vines. Further in there was carpet made of deer skin and the walls were decorated with bones and flaming torches. Our belongings were left at the front gate incase we were going to be sent away.

We waited in front of a large throne made of thick branches and deer antlers, anxious to see who this 'commander' was. There was a slam of a door to the side of the room and a young woman with dark paint smeared across her eyes stormed in wearing black pants and a metal plated cape.

She stepped up the the throne and sat down, lacing her fingers together and tilted her head.

"Who are you." She asked bluntly.

"Dorothea, of the sea." I bowed my head slightly as a sign of respect. "Me and my people have been sent here to negotiate terms by Luna."

I noticed her brows prick in instant interest and the curl of her lip loosened. I smiled internally in victory and waited for a response.

"What kind of terms."

"We want to expand our trades to the woods clan." I explained. "We've been passing you for years but I find it strange that we have yet to do business."

She leaned back in her seat and nodded. "Yes, I do enjoy the occasional deliveries we receive and I'm sure the rest of my people will too if I agree to move forward with your offer." She sat in silence for a while, thinking to herself. "Of course I can not agree right away as much as I am sure you only mean well."

She beckoned what looked to be her right hand man over and whispered something in his ear. The man nodded and stood upright once more.

"Gustus here will get you situated, we will talk about what you have to offer me tomorrow." She gestured to the man beside her then stood up and left the room, two of her warriors trailing quickly behind.

As soon as she left the room Áki looked down at me and nodded. "You have done well."

I smiled and nodded.

"So what did the Merican say? You seem pleased." Adrian whispered to me as Gustus came near.

"I think everything is going to be alright, Shrimp. Everything will be just fine." I said, causing him to wear his contagious goofy smile.

"I thank you for the ale and the axes, Thea of the Sea." The commander who I have learnt is named Lexa. "What else is it that you need from us other than our business."

"I was hoping to acquire some land and some animals to start up a settlement." I mentally crossed my fingers seeing that the commander was being so lenient. "If it is not too much to ask."

"It is a big ask." Lexa said simply.

I dipped my head, feeling her charitable sense drifting slowly.

Things were coming to easily before, of course something has to go wrong. I bit on the inside of my cheek in anticipation, I did not know what else I could say to convince the young woman.
