The ship finally sailed in and it seemed that there were minimal problems when it came to the vessel itself. The storm however did give it a good beating.

"Luna." I greeted with a respectful bow of the head.

She returned it and looked across the scurrying camp.

"You're doing better than I predicted." She stated bluntly.

"Thank you."

"The Eastern Chief sends his regards, a gift." She pointed behind her to two women wearing the eastern red clothing struggling with a large throne.

I furrowed my brows and rushed to help them.

They nodded thankfully and we lowered it down the ramp and onto the docks.

"Tell your chief I send my thanks." I smiled gently, waving some people over to help move the chair into the hall.

The ship rocked as it unloaded and members slid down ropes and jumped off the sides on to the long docks with grins on their faces.

Some dove straight into the deep end of the water and floated to the surface, appreciating the land they had finally come upon.

A line of stiff looking foreigners walked down the ramp that extended off the ship, their eyes flickering around.

I chuckled at the sight of them and jogged back towards the shore. I caught up with Luna and walked beside her. "Fresh fish?"

She glanced back and gave me a side ways smirk. "Freshest I've seen in years."

From the material of their clothing, the tone of their skin and the muscle-or should I say-lack of muscle on their bodies, I could tell that the majority were from the east.

"Take your pick, Vili already went through them." She told me.

Vili, the northern chief. He only takes the strongest so that they are more likely to survive the cold winters. He is usually the one who receives first pick which is horrible for every other unit because they get left with the weakest and the ones least likely to survive.

"Of course he did." I muttered under my breath.

She frowned over at something and pointed. "Who in the seven seas is that?"

I followed the focus of her attention and my eyes landed on Murphy in an easy conversation with Edith.

"A recruit." I answered simply, hoping she would not question further.

She looked at me with a look that showed she knew I was hiding something. "He's too clean. He's not just any recruit. I ask you again, who is he?"

I sighed and dipped my head. Luna had a skill in reading people, being able to tell whenever anyone was lying.

"He's the delivery that Trigeda wanted."

Her face morphed into instant confusion and looked down to me. "Why is he here? Why do they not have him?"

"I took him off their hands when they were finished with him, I needed an extra pair of hands around here." I explained.

She assessed me carefully, her eyes burnt into me with thoughts I could not read.

"I hope that for the sake of my reputation that he does not fuck anything up for us." She finally said. She turned her attention away and rubbed her hands together. "Now, where is the food."

She wandered off with her cape flowing behind her gracefully. I shuddered and broke off in a different direction. That woman scared the clams out of me.
