It was the morning by the time I had gathered what Murphy and I needed to return.

I looked around in search of Bellamy or Clarke to find out their final answer. I stopped a girl along the way and questioned her of their whereabouts. "Have you seen Clarke or Bellamy?"

She looked at me as if extremely confused then tilted her head. "Haven't you heard? Clarke's missing."

"What?"

"Yeah, since the hunting trip yesterday evening."

"What about Bellamy?"

"In the drop ship, looking through the battle plans I think." She scratched the back of her head then turned away.

"Thanks..." I muttered under my breath, making my way up while he made his way down. "Oh."

"Sarah."

"It's Thea actually, have you thought about my offer?" I asked, following him down the ramp.

"I have, but I have to say no." He mumbled firmly. "My people don't trust grounders, I don't trust grounders. I can't expect them to fight along someone they're not willing to."

"You haven't even talked to them about it!" I growled. "You alone can't decide who the people want to place their lives in the hands of."

"I can, and I have."

I snarled and bore my teeth. "I should have known you wouldn't have had a change of your stubborn heart."

Something at his pocket made a noise, catching his attention.

"What's that Jasper?" He muttered into a strange device.

"Don't try to avoid the conversation, rotted plank." I barked, shoving him. "These are lives you're-"

The small device started speaking again and Bellamy put a hand against my face to shut me up. I swiped it away angrily, about to curse him out.

'...Murphy has a gun...' Jasper's voice sounded through the piece of technology. '...He killed Myles...'

A loud creak caught the attention of everyone in camp. My mouth fell open when I suddenly realised what was going on.

"Murphy!" I yelled, running towards the rising metal door.

I leaped into the air as high as I could and managed to catch the very edge of it.

"The- Lancaster!" Bellamy's voice boomed from below.

I pulled myself up so that could hook myself up but before I could swing my leg over and roll in, the door jolted violently and threw me off. I plummeted to the ground and felt my soul pull from my body as I crashed through the air. As I hit the ground, my back lashed in the most painful way and my neck whipped, pulling a muscle and hitting my head against the solid dirt floor. The impact coursed through my body and shocked my every bone. I let out a loud groan and reached a shaking arm back behind my head, massaging my scalp and neck weakly.

"Help her up!" Bellamy ordered.

A couple sets of arms grabbed me and dragged me out of the way of the door.

My eyes began to roll to the back of my head and I rolled to my side, unable to see anything.

"Murphy! What the hell are you doing?" Bellamy bellowed through the device, running up to the drop ship and banging on to the metal. "Murphy! Murphy! Open the damn door!"

I winced and pushed up from the ground, collapsing again when my consciousness faded in and out.

I opened my eyes moments later and it seemed time had passed and Bellamy had just spat out orders across the camp as people scattered but still with lingering eyes.
