Our journey back consisted of three days of straight galloping as fast as the horses could take us.

Riding up to the large gates of the Capitol once more, they swung open for us to pass through.

There was a large group of almost the whole village piled together at the front of the Commander's building.

I jumped off the cart and ran to the gathered crowd. I pushed through the people who were on the tip of their toes, trying to get a better look of what was at the front. As I squeezed past, I heard brief exchanges of the words 'commander' 'd.c.' and something to do with the sea. I squeezed further until I finally stumbled into the clearing at the front, right where the front of the big building was. Four heads turned to me, their eyes all glued on me the moment they recognised who I was.

I widened my eyes at the blonde standing with her hand resting on her hip and the other holding a shark tooth. Lexa was the other, standing by a brown haired woman I didn't recognise and Gustus.

I nodded respectfully to my leader as she made a come-hither motion. I got close and she slung an arm over my shoulder, gripping it and shaking me violently. "Anya, I will leave my trusty western chief in your capable hands." Luna said to the stranger.

Suddenly realising what she said I looked at her with surprise. Chief? What? No!

Kai was chief. The Eastern Chief is a chief. the Northern chief is a chief!

I'm not a chief!

No!

Luna's eyes did not once look back at me as she spoke to the other women. What was she doing here anyway?

"Luna of the sea, we thank you for personally coming down here to talk business." Lexa smiled calmly. "As soon as Thea delivers to Anya what we have agreed on, the deal is settled."

We agreed on something? Or did they? Could things please make sense.

Luna finally looked at me and pat me on the chest. "I have things to discuss before my travels, we appreciate your cooperation."

The two women and man nodded and walked into the large building, leaving me alone with Luna.

She walked me towards her large group of people gathered at the back entrance of the village and sat me down on a log.

"It seems we have things to discuss." She said, sitting herself down with her robe tucked comfortably under her butt.

I snorted internally. Ya think?

"Yes." I mumbled in complete contrast to my thoughts.

"Anya, is from Ton D.C, One of the villages, I'm sure she'll fill you in." She waved her hand messily as she spoke, like she didn't really care what the deal was with that woman. "We also made a deal for you to retrieve something for her but she'll tell you all about that later. And... by default, you are the western settlements." Like it was the most casual thing ever.

Instead of bursting with joy I sat there staring at her.

She brushed her hair over her shoulder while dodging a butterfly then looked at me with a confused expression. "What?"

I blinked quickly then cleared my throat. "Wait so you were serious?"

"Yeah?" She almost rolled her eyes at me like I was an idiot.

"I can't, Luna with all due respect, I cant." I refused, shaking my head. "appoint it to someone else, please, I can't do that."

"Why not?"

Before I could answer, let alone ask more questions about why she was even here, one of her crew members called out the her, telling her that her horse was ready.
