They threw me into a chair and tied my hands behind my back, leaving me in an empty metal room.
I tried wriggling out of my restraints but they even kept my legs tied to the chair, there was no escape for me.
I looked back over my shoulder but found no way out, even if I was to get out of my ties.
My eye started to burn severely and I scrunched my face, dipping my head and wishing I could just dunk it into a bucket of cold Arctic water.
The door slid open and Kane walked in. "So tell me about the common enemy."
"You keep treating me like one and you might just become the common enemy." I hissed between my teeth.
"Don't try to make this hard, tell me what kind of weapons they use, what their tactics are, their numbers."
I clenched my teeth together and stared at him begrudgingly.
"Don't make me take this to the next level, Thea." He growled, "You may have ground knowledge but we out gun you all."
I chuckled and leant back in my seat. "It's always about the guns isn't it with you people."
He pulled up a chair and sat down.
"What is it you want with these people?" I asked. "If it's an ally you want you could have had it with the boat people. If it's peace you want I can guarantee you that Anya will not comply."
"Peace for my people is all I want, but I also need to know the way these people operate in case we ever need to defend ourselves."
"You sure have a funny way of showing it." I mumbled, tugging on my restraints. "I'm sorry I can't help you, but I don't trust you. Telling you the tactics of Trigeda would be like telling you my tactics, they're not the same but close enough that it'd be dangerous for you to know."
He sighed and stood.
"I know you're trying to protect your people, but so am I." I continued, leaning back once more.
"I understand." He said quietly. "But I will keep you restrained until I know you are a threat to my people."
"Smart move."
I was then left in the room for quite some time, still tugging at my ties but nothing budged.
I was then dragged out of the room and into the hallway by a dark skinned man, who stood guard beside me while Bellamy was lead into the room.
"Any chance you have some ale?" I asked the man.
He stayed silent and didn't even make eye contact, I felt like I was just a whisper in the wind.
My eye stung again and I winced, letting out a small gasp. This time it caught his attention but he proceeded to ignore me again.
It wasn't long before Kane left the room again, two more guards came down the hall dragging Murphy between them.
I tried to stand but couldn't move a muscle. "Murphy? John!" I exclaimed, wriggling in my restraints.
"Thea! Hey, let me go! Let me see her!" He tried throwing himself towards me without such luck. "Someone at least get her a doctor, damn it!
"What the hell is he doing here?" I heard Bellamy bark before the door was shut in front of me.
"Why are they in there?" I asked abrubtly.
"They're being held and evaluated for the time being. Just until we know that they are no longer a threat." Kane explained.
"No longer a threat? They weren't a threat until you made them one!"
