Chapter 5: Breach

 The shadow walked towards Brooklyn, revealing it to be.

 "Darius! Don't scare me like that," Brooklyn shouted almost in relief.

  "Sorry, I just,.. um,.. was worried about you. What are you doing, up so late?" Darius explained.

 "I just..., couldn't sleep, worried that we might not to survive," Brooklyn replied coming with an instant excuse.

 "Okay, if you're sure, I'll always be here, if you need me," Darius informed walking out of the kitchen. Darius hit himself on the head, thinking himself as stupid, and walked back to the living room.

 Yaz still stared out into space, trying to figure out what she would do, now that she knew Ethan didn't like her like that. She began doubting a lot of things. Was the feelings, she was feeling even real? Was she overthinking it? Did he really not like her that way?

  Kenji walked into the hallway seeing Yaz staring out into space.

 "Yaz, You Okay?" Kenji asked snapping her out of her trance.

 "Yeah! I was just looking at that wall over there, it is really interesting," Yaz replied slightly startled.

 "Um, I'm not so convinced," Kenji mentioned not buying into her excuse.

 "Okay, I kissed Ethan on the lips, and I confessed my love to him!" Yaz explained in small shouts. 

"Already?" Kenji wondered raising an eyebrow.

 "Uh, yeah! But he doesn't have the same feelings," Yaz informed looking to the ground.

 "Yaz, that,... isn't love. Love just doesn't just happen out of nowhere; You need time to build up those feelings and...."Kenji explained only to be interrupted in the middle of his sentence by Yazmina.

 "Oh! Well, I'll wait, until I know, I have feelings for him, and by then he'll love me. Thanks, Kenji!" She stated in exclamation.

 "Wait,.. that's not what I,... Never mind, good luck," Kenji responded dismissing his real point, until he noticed something, "Oh! Yaz, You have something on your cheek," He stood and walked up to her.

 "I do? Oh, Where is it? Get it off," Yaz demanded in disgust.

 "It's okay, it's just a smidge of dirt. I'll just,.." Kenji reassured wiping his thumb across her cheek to get that smidge of dirt off her face.

After a moment of silence, Yaz said,"Um,.. maybe, I might be able to sleep, if my shoulder was taken care of," She suggested gesturing to her impaled shoulder.

 "I'll help!" Kenji volunteered picking Yaz up bridal style and taking her to a private room, but left the door slightly open so everyone else could sleep. He didn't give much thought, the fact he didn't know much about first aid.

 Ethan opened his eyes and couldn't sleep, he saw his dog and baby t-rex asleep, but saw the Spinosaurus wide awake. He walked over to it, in curiosity. It tried to stand up, but it immediately fell.

 "You're trying to leave, aren't you?" Ethan whispered with a small smile.

 The Spinosaurus replied in a low roar.

 "I saved you from the Scorpious Rex. This is ridiculous, you don't even understand a word, I'm saying. Ben is right, This isn't How to Train Your Dino, I'm crazy, Ethan said to himself. The Spinosaurus roared loudly in anger.

 "Or maybe you can understand," He mumbled. He ran to the kitchen, grabbed a piece of meat, and some water, then ran back.

 "Here, I got you some food and water," Ethan notified.
