Chapter 4: Hunted

 Darius wiped the tears off his face and returned to the others in the other room seeing Brooklyn just staring off into space. He tried to walk over there and talk to her but he just couldn't get himself to go over there and ask.

 Mae returned with the medical kit for the Spinosaurus, and sat back down next to Ethan. Ethan went and fetched a wet cloth. Mae put the cloth on the Spinosaurus's spine, and kept pressure on it to stop the bleeding. When it stopped, Ethan put some ointment that he had just in case, he ever got hurt, and put it on to prevent an infection.

 "Alright, Now we need to stitch up the wound so the wound can heal," Mae ordered.

 Ethan took a thread and needle, he put the thread through the hole of the needle, and began to stitch up the wound.

 When Ethan finished stitching it up, the two applied gauze pads onto the wound, so it could heal. The Spinosaurus opened it's eye seeing Ethan there in front of it, pushing some raw meat to it and without hesitation the Spinosaurus ate it. Ethan reached his hand out to touch it, but it just moved it's head away.

 "Hey, Ethan, this isn't how to train your dinosaur get away from it," Ben commanded with a small smile.

 "I know, It's just it doesn't seem evil like a usual Spinosaurus. It didn't eat us, because we saved it's life, so I thought,..... Oh My, Gosh, Ben!!! You've got something in you," Ethan warned exaggeratedly shouting.

  Ben looked at his stomach to see the Scorpious Rex's spikes impaled into his stomach. 

 "Whoa! I didn't even feel it. It must have got me, when I saved Sammy," Ben mentioned after a short gasp.

  "Ben, Are you okay?" Sammy asked in concern.

 Ben was about to answer, but he fell to the floor, before he could reply.

 Right when everyone saw him fall, they tried looking through the stuff, they had from Nublar that they'd salvaged from the beach, to find the extra antidote they kept, just in case, but they found nothing.

 "It must be either still on the beach, or Kash and Daniel picked it up. Me and Kenji will take Kash's headquarters. Mae and Brooklyn search the beach for it. Sammy your job is taking care of Ben. Yaz, Ethan, you guys can continue taking care of the Spinosaurus," Darius explained.

 "Aye aye, Darius," Ethan answered respectfully.

 "Did you just reply to me respectfully,.. never mind, let's go, Kon,"  Darius wondered then shoved the thought to the back burner of his mind.

 "Uh,.. it's Kenji," Kenji corrected confused at how Darius addressed him.

 "Whatever," Darius muttered angrily.

After everyone left, everything stayed quiet for a while. Ethan began to reach his hand out to touch the Spinosaurus again, but this time he grabbed a piece of meat, gave it to him and then petted it.

 Meanwhile Darius and Kenji walked towards Kash's headquarters.

 "So you and Brooklyn, broke up," Darius mentioned trying to hide the irritation of the inaccuracy of the statement .

 "Yeah, and?" Kenji asked.

 "You two were happy, I can't believe you just,.. left her," Darius spout angrily.

 "I realized the feelings, I had, weren't real. She took it well, she understood, besides what could you understand about a relationship? Your dad is dead, and you'll probably never see your brother ever again, so what would you know about a steady relationship?" Kenji shouted.
