Lena Kieran Luthor's POV
At last, I've made it to National City. I can finally start putting my plan into action, my plan to redeem my brother's failed attempt at taking over the world. Not only am I flawlessly beautiful, I'm enhanced. I genetically modified myself to have some helpful powers that will assist me. My first step is getting inside information on the one and only hero herself, Supergirl. Once shes out of the way, nothing will stop me.
I've heard that a girl by the name of 'Kara Danvers' knows Supergirl personally so I'll attempt to find her. I had looked her up while on the plane and found out the she works at CatCo. Thats a place not known for it's hard hitting journalism. More like high wasted jeans, yes or no?
I saw her talking to a girl, she leaned in to kiss her but the other girl backed away. Kara looked confused and then eventually she looked hurt, incredibly hurt. If only I had gotten the super hearing to work, I would know whats going on. Kara reached for the girls hand as she walked away, but the girl looked completely pissed off and dodged the reach of her hand. The girl left Kara looking devastated, I think they may have just broken up. This would be perfect for my plan. The closer I can get to Kara, the closer I can get to Supergirl.
I monitored her for the rest of the day. Although, she disappeared for about an hour at one point. I was able to trace her once again and followed her to a place called Al's Dive Bar. I stayed behind for a few minutes before going inside. Once I entered, I looked around and saw a lot of different aliens. Some with scales, others with antennas. A few humans were scattered around including Kara. She sat alone at the bar, taking sips on her drink every now and then.
She looked deep in thought and I decided to approach her. Even if I could just make small talk for now, it would be a start. I attempted to get her attention a few times but I don't think she heard me.
"Excuse me, miss?" I said. Kara looked around and finally noticed me standing behind her. I subtly smirked.
"Can I help you?" Kara asked as she turned around.
"I was just wondering if you knew where that bathroom was. I'm new to the city and nobody else will answer me." I smiled. She stated staring at me for a moment, then she looked at my lips. Strange.
"I.. uhh.. What?" Kara mumbled out.
"Do you know where the bathroom is?" I asked again.
"Err.. Yeah.. That corner." Kara said, pointing to a door in the corner of the room.
"Thanks." I walked off towards the bathroom, leaving Kara to deal with a small gay panic that had just overcome her. That's one thing about being flawlessly beautiful, you can make anyone fall head over heels for you. Another helpful tool that I have is my irresistible charm.
I didn't really have to use the bathroom so I just stood in the corner if my bathroom swiping away at my phone. Once enough time had passed, I headed out of the bathroom and towards Kara once again. I tapped on her shoulder and she turned around. The moment we made eye contact, her face turned red.
"Like I said earlier, I'm new to the city. So can you tell me about your 'local hero', Supergirl?" I raised an eyebrow and helped myself to the seat next to Kara. I've always heard that confidence is key, so I try my hardest to mantain my confidence, especially around others.
"You alright, dear?" I said after a moment of listening to Kara's nonsense mumbling.
"Yes. Uhm.. I... Supergirl is nice." Kara stuttered. Well that was helpful.
"So I've heard.. But is there anything else you could tell me?" I said with a slight chuckle. Hopefully she'll give me some actual information, something that I wouldn't be able to figure out online.
