Third Person POV

Lena and Kara had to be put in separate cells which both of them were totally against. They got interrogated separately too. It was a very very long process and eventually both of them were let out on the agreement that they stay within someone line of sight until they could be fully trusted again. They were also required to wear power dampening cuffs.

As Lena and Kara were reuniting after not seeing each other for many hours, they were interrupted by the sound of angry footsteps entering the DEO. Kara swiftly turned to look in that direction and saw Eliza storming her way over.

"Kara Zor-El Danvers!" She yelled angrily. Kara's eyes widened and she attempted to back away.

"Were you out of your damn mind?" Eliza asked as she pointer her finger at Kara.

"Before you do anything, you should know that I have power dampening cuffs on and anything you would do would hurt very very much." She shyly grinned.

"I expected better from you. A lot better." She said.

"I know. I know. I'm so sorry Eliza." Kara looked down at the ground. "Would you like to meet my girlfriend?" She asked, changing the topic in its entirety.

"You have a new girlfriend?! I would love to meet her." Eliza smiled. Kara took a deep breath and led her over to Lena who looked completely terrified.

  "Eliza, meet Lena." Kara smiled.

"Lena as in Lena Luthor?" Eliza asked. Kara nodded shyly.

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Danvers. I do have to say, you are extremely intimidating and that is coming from someone whos mother threatened to shoot her on the spot numerous times." Lena reached her hand out.

"Sounds like your mother is a scary woman. I trust you don't take after her?" Eliza asked.

"I don't. I try not to anyways. Kara has really helped me." Lena smiled. Eliza finally shook Lena's hand.

"I'm glad." She smiled. Kara was happy to see the two getting along so far. She was worried that this introduction would take a hard turn south.

  "Kara." Alex said.

  "Yeah?" Kara replied.

"You are being summoned by Cat Grant." Alex said.

  "Supergirl or Kara?" Kara asked.

  "Kara." Alex replied.

  "Where at?" She asked.

"She said you would know?" Alex said.

"Oh.. Let me think.." Kara mumbled. "I think she wants to meet at CatCo."

  "Isn't CatCo..?"

"Yeah. Its no longer with us. But like near the rubble probably." Kara paused. "Do you need to come with me?"

"Someone has to go with you. J'onn can probably do it. He can shapeshift into a fly or something and keep his eyes on you without being seen." Alex suggested.

"I can do that." J'onn said as he approached from behind.

"Great. Let's go." Kara said. She pushed off the ground, attempting to fly while forgetting that the power dampening cuffs were on her. She noticed her mistake too late and collapsed onto the floor.

"We will never speak of that." Kara stormed out of the DEO building.

Kara finally made it to CatCo. She kept her hands behind her back in hopes that Cat would not see them.

"Were you out of you're damn mind, Kara?" Cat said as she randomly approached from the rubble, causing Kara to jump.

"You're the second person to say that to me in the last hour." Kara paused. "Wait for doing what?"

"Oh please. You act like you don't know." Cat said.

"I uhm.. I don't know, Ms. Grant." Kara chuckled.

"I know that you're Supergirl and went crazy on the town like you did a few years ago. So I have to assume you were under another mind altering drug?" Cat said.

"Whattttt? You're crazy Ms. Grant. I am definitely not Supergirl."

"Those glasses don't hind a thing and lets not act like you don't have handcuffs on. They're glowing, Kara. You can't hide glowing handcuffs at night." Cat said.

  "Right.." Kara chuckled.

"So explain yourself." Cat stared at her, patiently waiting for a response.

"Uhm... I don't know what to say.." Kara mumbled.

"You can start with why you bombed the city." Cat narrowed her eyes. Kara tensed up.

"That wasn't technically me. I was being controlled by someone else. I had no control over any of my actions." Kara said.

"Who were you being controlled by?" Cat paused. "Off the record.. For now."

   "Lillian Luthor." Kara stated.

"Is Lillian Luthor Blackout?" She asked.

"No." Kara mumbled. "It's Lena Luthor."

"Interesting. Why were you working with them?" Cat asked. Kara looked over towards the small fly that was hovering near them, attempting to ask for approval but she wasn't sure if he could do anything.

"You can tell her, Kara." J'onn said quietly.

"What the hell? Where did that come from?" Cat asked, looking around.

"My comms." Kara lied and pointed at her ear. "Anyways, I was working with the Luthors for a brief amount of time to get Lena out of an abusive situation."

"And you risked the lives of thousands of people for Lena?" Cat asked.

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I know I screwed up but I couldn't help it." Kara said quietly.

"You like her." Cat stated. Kara was a bit taken back by the bluntness of Cat's statement but she knew it wasn't a lie so she slowly nodded.

"Tell Lena to cover the costs of the CatCo reconstruction and I'll call it fair." Cat said. Kara nodded.

   A few months later

It had been a rough few months for the two but things were finally starting to go back to normal. CatCo had been rebuilt. Lena paid for all of it using the mother she was given after her mother died in jail. She still had plenty left over and used it to do good for the world. She donated to many charities and fundraisers. However the favorite thing she had done with her money was buying the land that the broken down house was on. The house that they stayed at for 2 weeks while hiding from everyone. She paid to have it fixed up and they lived there now. It had turned into a stunning house compared to the situation it was in before.

They had also been working hard to regain the trust of the city. They were starting to come around and accept the pair as heroes. Many people were still skeptical after they had been the amount of destruction they had caused. They were content with their lives now and both forever grateful for each other.

They sat together on their couch and watched their favorite television show. Their hands were intertwined and Lena's head was resting on Kara's shoulder. Kara's head was resting on Lena's.

  "I love you.." Kara smiled.

"I love you too.." Lena replied.

  "Forever?" Kara asked.

  "Forever." Lena smiled.
