San Francisco, CaliforniaWe arrived in San Francisco around lunchtime. JJ, Derek, Reid, and I had to head to the latest crime scene while Hotch and Rossi went to the police state. I'm glad Hotch put Jennifer with us. I wanted to keep an eye on her but something isn't sitting right with this case and to make matters worse.. Most of the victims were blonde. I tried to keep that detail out of my mind. I sat in the back with JJ as Derek drove us to the crime scene. I had my leg pressed against hers, just to keep physical contact with her.
"Did you know The Dash was the first "notorious" gay bar in San Francisco in 1980? It was shut down by the vice squad almost as soon as it opened, after a high-profile judge was linked to the bar, leading to a reform movement that helped shutter the equally infamous Barbary Coast." Reid said, breaking the silence in the SUV. I smiled softly as I looked through the case file again.
We pulled up to the crime scene 10 minutes later. We all got out and walked over meeting the local police.
"Hi, I'm SSA Derek Morgan. This is SSA Dr. Spencer Reid, SSA Jennifer Jareau, and SSA Emily Prentiss" we all shook hands and walked over to where the latest body was found. We stayed in the field for about 2 hours then headed back to the police station to meet up with Hotch and Rossi. JJ had to get ready to give a news report and I honestly did not want her on TV right now but she is our communications liaison.
She was in a separate room, writing her statement out. I slipped into the room with her while the guys were distracted.
"Hey" I said. Her head snapped up and she sent a smile my way. I walked over to her and leaned against the desk she was sitting at.
"Hey, what's up?" She laid her pen down and looked up at me. I smiled and ran a hand over her hair.
"Just checking on you. Are you okay?" She let out a sigh and looked away from me.
"I feel weird.. Like a bad weird and I know it sounds silly but cases like this are never easy.."
"It's not silly because I feel the same way. That's why I came to talk to you.. I want you to go back to Virginia. I know.. I know I don't have a direct say but I would appreciate it if you went"
"I don't know.. Maybe it's all in our heads. Maybe it's because the victims favor me but we never do this when victims favor you.."
"I know that Jennifer but this is different. This is about the lgbtq community which the both of us are a part of. I don't want anything to happen to you Jennifer. There are sick people in this world. And the thought of something happening to you makes me sick.."
"I'll talk to Hotch after the press release.."
"Thank you"

We arrived at our hotel around 10 o'clock that night. We had a long fucking day. For no reason actually. Jennifer and I were sharing a room until she leaves at 5am to head back to Virginia. I was relieved that she was going back. Something about this case wasn't sitting right with me.
"Thank God the day is over." She said plopping down on the bed, laying back. I slipped my boots and pants off walking over to the bed. I threw my shirt off and climbed on the bed, straddling her thighs. She sits up, supporting herself on her hands. I grab her face.
"I'm going to miss you" she rolls her eyes smiling.
"You'll be home before you know it, I'll be on the video chats with Pen while I'm there."
"I know but it's not the same"
"Well, how about I give you something to remember me by? Until you get back home that is"
"Oh yeah and what's that?" She sits up and I get comfortable in her lap. She reaches behind her neck and takes off her necklace, snapping it around my neck.
"There, that way you have to see me in order to give it back." I grab her face and smash our lips together, her hands snaking around to my ass, gripping each cheek tightly. She flips us over and we spend the rest of the night trying to keep quiet.

I woke up around 4 o'clock that morning so I could get ready and head back to Virginia. I didn't want to leave Emily. It's been a while since we've been away from each other. We are always together, either at her house or on the few occasions she comes over to mine.
I get my suitcase packed up and throw on some joggers and a hoodie before walking over to the bed, where Emily is knocked out still naked from our rounds of sex last night. I sit down and rub my hand down her back.
"Baby.." I whisper into her ear. She moves a little then turns looking at me.
"Hey, are you leaving?" I hover over her so we are face to face.
"I am. I'm going to miss you" she rolls over and wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me down. My arms wrap under her, holding her close.
"I'm going to miss you too. Please, text me when you make it home"
"Of course baby, I love you"
"I love you too Jennifer" I place a kiss against her lips before pulling back. I slip my shoes on and grab everything leaving to head to the lobby. I sit outside on the bench and wait for my taxi to arrive.
Once my taxi arrives, I throw my bag in the backseat before climbing in myself. I stroll through my phone as we make our way to the airport. I started getting sleepy, so I closed my eyes to rest them a little bit.
...
When I woke up, I couldn't move. My body was locked up against something. I tried to look around but there was something covering my eyes. I didn't have clothes on either from the feel of things and how cold my body was.
I tried to listen for any noises, silence, until I heard a door open to my left. My heart started racing.
"You're finally awake.. Now, we can have a little fun"
