Your chin is held up high,
Looking right at the sky,
Does the moonlight bother you?
I like the stars,
the patterns they create
Reminds me of you;
during my bad daysSmoke covering my eyes,
I feel lost in your line of sight,
Blinded by my ego,
If I pulled you closer;
and told you what I see in you,
Would you believe me?
If I'm perfect as you always say,
Then what are you?
An angel sent from above,
Or a flower that's bound to bloom?Tied down with your presence,
A voice massages my ears,
Such a soft sound,
Yet it's enough to wake me up,
Clenching my fists
in my backside pockets,
Crawling into your arms,
Screaming my anger out into your shirt,
Tears streaming down my cheeks,
Am I still beautiful to you?Thunderstorms surrounding my head,
I'm a train wreck once I'm alone,
Whimpering in pain,
Imagining that you're here with me,
If I let you inside my brain,
Accepting your every piece of being,
Would you still look at me the same?
If I held you closer than this,
Grinding my hips against you
as I kiss your lips,
Would you still want me?
Just like this?
