Walking among thin lines,
Stairs cracked and curtains closed,
Eyes barely opening,
Yet in your mind; it's glowing,
How come you can still see?
I've been blind since I learnt to breathe,
Battling with your demons,
Tearing them apart along with your walls,
Stronger than I could've ever been

That smile of yours,
It brightens up the room,
Such simplicity in such a dark matter,
When everyone's heads are facing down,
You're there to lift up their frown,
Bringing peace into their minds,
How come nobody knows you exist?

You walk past me everyday,
Slaughtering your brain, wishing to decay
Negativity everywhere you go,
Breaking down whenever you fall,
Standing up only to fall again,
I've seen you fight; you'll break your every bone only to prove your point,
What's that about?

The softness, pain and anxiety,
You pushed through; turned it into honesty
Frightening people with your emotions,
They'll learn to stay eventually,
Trust me, they will..
Because I did.
