It's a smol chapter today

As Suzy sat at playgroup, her friends flocked to her.
"What happened last night night?" Rebecca asked.
"Tell us everything!" Peppa demanded.
"Ok, ok." Suzy hushed them, glancing quickly at Freddy, who had a knowing smile on his face. She blushed and turned back to her friends.
"Well, there was this bunch of gorillas... you know, the ones who cat-called you in the shop." She explained. "They crowded me, tried to..." Suzy choked up. Peppa rubbed her on the back and motioned for her to go on.
"Freddy?" She prompted.
"Oh yes." Suzy sniffled. "He was just passing by, when he saw it. He chased them off. Then he got me dinner."
Zoe groaned. "Yes, but what did you talk about? Oh gods, I wish I had been there."
"We just talked about stuff. Not much. School, you know." Suzy waved her hand. The others sighed, disappointed. "I think I... no, nevermind."
She was going to confess her feelings to her friends. Yes, feelings. She had started to realise she was crushing on the vampire. But she remembered in time that he could read her friends minds; how embarrassing that would have been!
"Go on," Rebecca shook her. "What?"
"Tell us! We need to know!" Peppa groaned.
Suzy shook her head again. "It doesn't matter. But he did drive me home," She smiled at the memory.
The other girls oohed and gave her suggestive looks, but Madame Gazelle swept through the room and signalled an activity change.
Suzy thought about Freddy. She realised she was falling for him; hard. Oh, what was she going to do?
