12 - Freddy Watches Her Sleep. Again.

Suzy walked up to the door, hesitating.

"Hide," she hissed to Freddy. "My mum won't want to see you."

They'd had a really pleasant afternoon in the sun, kissing and relaxing. Now they were back home, but they couldn't bare to part.

Opening the door, Suzy walked into her house. 

"Good evening," Mummy Sheep nodded to Suzy.

Suzy pretended to yawn. "I'm really tired tonight, so I'm gonna have a shower and go to bed." She explained.

Mummy sheep raised an eyebrow. "What about dinner?"

"I... I already ate," provided Suzy, before running up the stairs.

Opening the door to her room, she took a double take as she spotted Freddy.

"How'd you get in here so fast?" She asked.

"I've been in here before," Freddy said sheepishly (lol).

Suzy's eyes widened.

"I watched you sleep," Freddy continued. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself, you're just so cute!"

Flattered, Suzy smiled. "It's ok." (no it's not)

Quickly, Suzy grabbed her clothes and went into her ensuite room and had a quick shower. Once she got out, all refreshed, she saw Freddy sitting on her bed smirking.

Wordlessly, they climbed into Suzy's bed and pulled the covers up. 

Freddy held Suzy to his chest, nuzzling in her hair.

"So, you watched me sleep?" Suzy murmured shyly.

Freddy hesitated. "Well, there's something so... so different about you. You smell... you smell so good compared to other humans! And you were pretty, and I was so curious..."

Suzy smiled, but the smile was cut short as she heard her Mum's footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Hide!" She hissed to Freddy, who crawled further down underneath the covers.

Mummy Sheep opened the door. "You ok, sweetheart? I thought I heard you talking to someone."

Suzy smiled. "I'm fine, mummy. I wasn't talking to anyone. Good night."

"Well, ok then," Mummy Sheep said quite hesitantly. "Good night."

With that, she closed the door.

Freddy poked his head back up. "That was a close one."

Suzy hummed in agreement. "So, you vampires don't need to sleep?"

"Nope." Freddy sighed. "I have so much spare time now."

"Sooo..." Suzy started nervously. "Are you gonna stay?"

"Until you fall asleep," Freddy explained. "Don't worry, I'll hear it when you fall asleep."

Suzy was uncomfortably reminded that Freddy was a vampire and could hear extremely well. He could also bite her and kill her while she was asleep, but he wouldn't do that.

"So you can hear really well? Like, how well?" She ventured.

"I can hear your heartbeat from a hundred meters away," Freddy murmured. "I can smell the sweet smell of your blood from twice as far."

Suzy shivered. In response, Freddy held her tighter, comforting her.

They stayed like that until Suzy drifted off to sleep in his arms.

I just remembered how weird Edward was. I mean stalking the girl you like while she sleeps? Creep!
