Suzy had to talk to Madame Gazelle about something, so she hung back a bit at lunch. She did not expect Freddy to talk to Madame Gazelle.
Suzy held her breath, trying to hear their conversation. No, she wasn't nosy. She just wanted to know.
"Is there any way I could transfer to a different class? The timetables are hard," She heard him say quietly.
Suzy frowned. He didn't want to leave because of her, did he? He did act like he didn't like her earlier, but she couldn't think of what for.
It was then that Freddy spotted Suzy. He gritted his teeth, saying that on second thoughts everything was under control and he should leave.
He nearly sprinted out the door in his haste. Yep, he definitely did not like her.
"Is anything the problem?" Madame Gazelle asked Suzy.
She shook her head. It didn't matter anymore.

After playgroup, Suzy was walking to her bike, wrapping her arms around her. It was very cold; she wished she had brought a jacket. The ground was covered in ice.
Someone shouted in warning, and a high pitched squealing filled the air. Suzy looked up, and saw a van skidding on the ice. Heading straight towards her.
It was like time had frozen. She stood there still, unable to move. Suzy clearly saw Freddy far away in the crowd.
Suzy looked straight at the van. Mr. Zebra was driving, hands clutching the driving wheel, trying to alter the course.
She stepped back, squeezing her eyes tight, waiting for the impact... but it didn't come.
Suzy tentatively opened her eyes, which widened a considerable amount as she saw the scene before her.
The van was looming over her, a big dent in its side... where Freddy was holding it with a single hand!
"Are you alright?" He said in his melodic voice. He looked at her with his bright gold eyes.
"Y-yes," Suzy stammered. "How did you do that? Hold the car, I mean."
Freddy looked a bit sheepish. "Adrenaline rush." He said, rather quickly.
Suzy narrowed her eyes, not believing him for one second.
Luckily for Freddy, but not so for Suzy, the crowd rushed in. An ambulance was called, and Mr. Zebra and Suzy were rushed to the hospital. To her bemusement, no one looked twice at Freddy.
Weird.

Freddy's adoptive father, Dr Elephant, was the one who checked up on Suzy.
"Your x-rays and vital signs are all good." He informed her. "You should be good to go, but take care."
Suzy nodded, jumping off the bed and walking towards her mother.
"Oh Suzy, are you ok?" She questioned. "That awful Zebra has got to be fined! He could have seriously injured someone, or even killed!"
"Mum, I'm fine." Suzy assured her. "But I have to find Freddy now, he was the one who saved me after all."
Suzy managed to extract herself from her mother and wandered the halls, trying to find Freddy. Soon, she could hear quiet voices, and she crept up quietly (or what she thought was quietly) and spied on the Cullen's.
"You stupid Fox! You risked everything, just for her!" Candy Cat hissed at him.
Mummy Fox nodded. "I know you thought it was right, but you really shouldn't have." She said.
Suzy felt a pang of sadness. They didn't want her to survive?
Suddenly, all three of them turned towards Suzy. She felt kind of awkward.
"Um, I just wanted to say, uh, thank-you for saving me, Freddy." She stuttered out.
Candy Cat glared at her and stalked off.
Something was seriously off.
