It was the day of the dance, and Suzy didn't want to go. Not at all.
Luckily, she had planned something totally 'important', that she definitely cannot miss, not at all.
She was going somewhere.
She hadn't planned where to, exactly, but Suzy didn't tell anyone that. Unfortunately, Freddy wanted to know.
"Where are you going?" He whined, as they built towers with blocks. It was ten minutes to go until they could leave.
"Um... Port Amulan." She didn't even know if it was a real place.
Freddy sighed. He obviously knew it wasn't a real place.
"Well, how about I go with you somewhere? I don't particularly want to go to the dance either."
And that was how they went on a trip to the forest together.

"Y'know, you really should stop hanging out with me." Freddy said out of the blue.
"Yeah, it's not like you were the one who organised this trip or anything." Suzy mumbled.
Freddy rolled his eyes. "I'm serious. I could really hurt you. I always want to sink my fangs into you." Freddy bared his sharp teeth, but Suzy just giggled.
Freddy did not find this amusing. He jumped onto a rock, and cracked it in half with his strength. "I'm strong. I could crush you with my bare hands." He sped around with his superspeed. "I'm fast. You can't outrun me."
Suzy just rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I get it, Mr Vampire. You're strong." A thought occurred to her. "Hey, can't vampires not go out in daylight or something?"
Freddy groaned. "Well, we can, it just gives us away."
"What?" Pressed Suzy.
Freddy pressed his lips together and took off his shirt, showing off his defined muscles.
Suzy nearly swooned. But if you asked her, she didn't.
Freddy stepped into the sunlight. And Suzy watched in amazement as he started to ✨sparkle✨.
She started to laugh. Freddy blushed, or turned as red as a dead person could, and stepped out of the sunlight.
Content, they lay down next to each other, Freddy forgetting about his outburst.
Turning his head to look at, Freddy smiled. Suzy turned her head.
"What?"
Freddy shook his head. "You. You're so..."
Suzy leaned forward, as Freddy trailed off.
Freddy leaned forwards too.
Suzy smiled as she closed the space between their lips.
