"Hello, Mummy Sheep." Freddy was wearing a suit and tie (cute!), and shifted uncomfortably in front of the stare of Mummy Sheep.
"So, you're dating Suzy?"
"Ah, yes?" Freddy replied awkwardly. Suzy had never seen him so unsure of himself.
"And you're taking her on a date?"
"I guess you could call it that. We're going to meet my family, and then play some baseball."
Suzy felt nervous butterflies in her stomach. She was meeting Freddy's vampire family!
"alright then." Mummy Sheep was a bit hesitant. "Make sure to be home before ten."
"Will do!" Freddy saluted, ever the chivalrous boyfriend.
Arm in arm, Freddy and Suzy walked to his car.
-
Suzy gaped at his house.
It was in a forest (understandable), and was basically a mansion! It was all modern, white concrete, glass. It was absolutely huge.
Freddy parked the car and held out his hand for Suzy to take. They walked up together into his house.
The inside of his house was decorated how you would think it would be, all modern with paintings and even more glass.
As they walked into the dining room, Suzy sniffed the air.
"Is that... Italian food?"
In the kitchen, the cullens were cooking. At the sight of Suzy, Mr Elephant smiled.
"We're making food for you!"
Candy cat sighed, holding a bowl of salad.
Sheepishly, Suzy shifted from foot to foot.
Candy cat narrowed her eyes. "You already ate, didn't you?"
Suzy shifted. "Well, I knew you guys didn't eat so..."
Growling, Candy Cat dropped the glass bowl and it shattered on the ground, before stalking up to her room.
Emily Elephant came forward then, hugging Suzy.
"Edward was right," she said. "You do smell good."
Unsure of what to do, Freddy and Suzy walked up to his room.
-
It was a typical room, minus the bed. One entire wall was a window, and there was a day bed in the middle of the room. It was acting as a couch, Suzy guessed. Her eyes shifted to the large bookshelf on one side of the room.
Inspecting it's contents, she nodded at Freddy. "All classic books. And oldie music?"
"Well, since I'm a hundred years old..." he trailed off. "You probably won't like it."
Suzy grinned. "Are you kidding? I'm a sucker for the oldies!"
Smiling, Freddy put one of the cds on an old cd player. Music filled the room.
Freddy grabbed Suzy's hand, and they danced together for a moment.
Thunder rumbled.
Freddy grinned in anticipation. "That's our cue. We like to play baseball in thunderstorms."
"Why?" Suzy asked as they made their way down the stairs."
"You'll see," Freddy said, smirking.
