11/Beach

Tessies POV

"Tess, come on. Unlock the door" Clary shouted from behind the door, continuously knocking.

Since that text I've been laying in my bed watching Nextflix for the past how many days. I don't feel sad, i feel heartbroken. Even though me and Michael weren't dating, i liked him and now i know he doesn't like me back. That hurts the most. I don't even know why he doesn't want to see me anymore but i don't care, he ruined me and i bet he's fine about it. What a jerk. I should let him explain but i dont have time for that. I have better things to do like eat ice cream and watch finding nemo.

Sighing, i got up lazily and unlocked the door, fed up of her banging.
"What!" I shouted as i opened the door, staring at her.
"Omg Tess" She exclaimed making me instantly worried. "You look awful! Your hair is a mess, you haven't eaten or showered" I looked down in embarrassment, she was right. I was a complete mess.

"You look really pale" She said in shock as she held a hand up to my face. "And cold" I squatted her hand away and walked over to my bed where i sat down. She followed, sticking her nose up at how messy my room was. I couldn't blame her, ice cream cartons were everywhere.

"Don't you want to go out? Maybe the beach" She suggested as she sat next to me, looking around the room.

"No, I'm really tired" I said as i shook my head, making clary stand up.

"If you're not coming with me and Brendon, then at least drink this" She said as she ran out of the room, coming back with a mug. She handed it to me, making me stick my nose up.

"Whyyy" I wined but Clary forced the hot liquid down me. Once i was finished, i was left with a vile taste in my mouth.

"You know you have to, even if you dont like it" She laughed when i gave her a sour face. "Now come on, were going to the beach.

Micheals POV
Ashton finally persuaded me to get out of the house which i regreted. He told me we were all going on a family trip but i had no clue except for the fact that nobody calls it a family trip. Well only Ashton does.

We all got out of the car and walked down the street until we could see the water.
"Really Ashton?" I sighed as i saw where we were going. I hated the beach. All the sand everywhere while it gets in your shoes, No thanks.
"I have a surprise" He laughed before whispering in Calum and Luke's ear. They nodded and smiled while i just looked at them weirdly.

"What is it?" I asked but Calum just shook his head.
"You have to wait" He laughed while i sighed and carried on walking.

After a couple of minutes we arrived at the sea front. It was hardly busy, only a few people on the beach but what can i expect. Its a Friday morning and all the kids are in school. I should be but i dropped out last year like Luke and Calum. Im glad im not in hell anymore. I hated school.

Once we walked onto the beach, Luke ran off like a little kid while Calum and Ashton walked off to find the perfect spot. I just followed, unsure why they were walking. Hardly anyone was on the beach so there was loads of space but knowing them they had to find the 'perfect' spot. I shook my head as i caught up with them, placing my towel next to Ashtons.

"Whats the surprise?" I asked Ash while Calum took off his top and ran into the water where Luke was currently. Ashton just laughed and shook his head at my question, making it clear he wasn't going to tell me. I sighed and sat on my towel, cross legged while i played with the sand that was beside me.

I was still pretty upset about Tess but i tried to keep my mind off of it. There was nothing i could do so i might as well forget about her. Well, at least try. Everytime my phone lights up i can see the picture of me and Tess that we took at the sleepover. Its my lock-screen and i cant get my self to delete it. It makes me smile and its as if nothing happened between us but i know its not true.

As if on que, i heard laughing. Girls laughing. I quickly lifted my head up and turned to the sound, my mouth dropping. Ashton giggled as if he knew she was going to be here. I bet this was his surprise.

"You knew" I half shouted while he sat there, laughing.
"I thought it would cheer you up if you spoke to her"

"Ashton! You knew what the letter said. What if her ex comes along and sees us together, he will hurt her" I scolded him but in my mind i was glad he brought me here. I could fix what did.

"We figured it out. We know its either Alex or Daniel and i checked that they weren't here. They've gone round their mates so you don't have to worry about it"

In my mind it didn't add together. If it was either Daniel or Alex that was stalking me and Tess, wouldn't they be here if they knew we would both be at the beach? I shook the thought off as I heard more laughing.

I looked over at Tess, Clary and who i guessed was Brendon and i felt jealous. The way he looked at her made me wonder what was going on. Did they like each other. The more i looked, the more i felt jealous so i turned back to Ashton.

"How did you even know they would be here. Does Tess know?" I asked as Ashton shook his head.
"She doesn't know and i saw Clarys Facebook post about going to the beach so i thought it was a good idea to come" He said as he shrugged. I was speechless. How did he know who Clary was.

"Ashton, How do you know Clary?" I asked him while he laughed.
"Don't you remember truth or dare? She told us about her two best friends. Clary and Brendon duh" I smiled when he said Brendon was her best friend. I don't know why but i just did. Now i know she doesn't like him like that or does she? Its confusing.

I looked over at Tess who was sitting down on the sand. She looked happy but not as happy as Clary. Tess wasn't laughing as much and i knew something was bothering her. One minute she was laughing and then next she was silent. I knew it had something to do with my text and i felt guilt. I did since i sent it but now i know how its effected her. The same as me.

I was smiling to myself until i heard nothing. No giggling or screaming from the girls so i cut out of my thoughts to realise that i had been staring at her this whole time. It was embarrassing. Especially when theyre all staring back.

"You're in trouble" Ashton coughed while my checks heated up.

I looked at him then back at the girls, they didnt look happy. Well Brendon and Clary didnt. Tess just looked down and avoided me while Clary started to head my way.

I was about to get myself into something i couldnt fix.
