Chapter 33
Pakunoda was right about the day your mother was coming sneaking up on you. She was supposed to be arriving later today and you were super excited to see her and Cookie. The whole day Pakunoda was non stop baking and preparing chocolate desserts while you fixed up your place for your mom to stay. You were done really fast because you literally were not there at all so it was already clean.
Soon enough your mother arrived. You were meeting her at your apartment first so you could show her where she would stay. Of course your mother shed a tear when she hugged you, it felt like too long since she last saw you and being able to hug her healthy happier daughter was overwhelming to her.
You also hugged and pet Cookie a lot. Seeing them almost made you cry especially since your mother did.
"How are you my dear? I can't believe I can finally hold you."
"I'm really good. Honestly this move was good for me. I know you were worried and it's sad to be away from you but this was for the better."
"Yeah I'm happy. I didn't think I'd see such a genuine smile on your face again." She said placing her hands of either side of your face.
"I smile all the time now."
"Who's been making you so cheerful?" She gave you a suggestive look.
"Oh gosh here we go." You face palmed. "I just love it here. I love the town, I love my job, I love the people..."
'I love my boss.'
"Well that's just so amazing I'm so happy." Your mother smiled.
"When you're ready I'd like to take you to meet my boss. Actually she's really excited to see you."
"Oh yes you have told me so much about her."
"Yeah and Cookie can meet the cats." You said very excited.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go."

Once you walked through the cafe door the intoxicating scent of chocolate and sweets filled the air.
"Wow." Your mother breathed in appreciating the aroma.
"Amazing right?" You smiled.
Pakunoda walked out from the kitchen greeting you guys a smile. "Hello I'm Pakunoda. Y/n has said so many pleasant things about you, I've been looking forward to finally meeting you." She said as extending her hand.
Your mother took her hand and it was obvious Pakunoda had already charmed her.
"Why hello I'm Violet, y/n's mother as you already know."
Pakunoda showed her around the cafe while Cookie and the other cats got comfortable with each other, the cats at the cafe were very friendly and not territorial at all so that went smoothly.
Pakunoda showed you guys to the kitchen where a beautiful array of chocolate desserts were waiting. Your mother was stunned not even knowing where to begin.
"Y/n said you loved chocolate.."
"You did this all for me?!"
"Of course. I love baking for people."
"You're crazy!" Your mother looked at you and pointed to Pakunoda. "I like this girl."
You guys ate the treats and conversed, your mother was eating up everything Pakunoda was saying. This girl just had a way to captivate everyone she spoke with.
"I'm glad y/n was able to get this job. It seems like she's surrounded by many good things. I was worried at first, her being away from home and all." Your mother said to Pakunoda.
"Yeah it must have been scary for you, but I assure you y/n will always be safe here at the café."
"Yeah I'm with Pakunoda during the day and at night I have all the cats so I'm never really alone." You added.
"Well I'm glad. From what I've seen this is a lovely place to live."
"We have to show you around. At night when all the lights turn on the town looks beautiful. Oh and Pakunoda planned something too." You looked over at her.
"Yeah I wanted to treat you guys to a spa visit tomorrow if that's alright with you."
"Is that alright?! Of course that sounds amazing! But please let me pay." Your mother responded.
"No please, allow me to do this. Y/n is always asking to pay for things too, now I see where she gets it from."
"Good." Your mother looked over at you. "I hope she is."
Pakunoda chuckled as you rolled your eyes.
"Mum she's not going to let you pay so you might as well give up."

After chatting for a while you and Pakunoda took your mother for a walk around town. It was really nice and refreshing, it made you really happy that you all were getting along well. After you guys had dinner and you brought your mom back to your place for her to get settled for the night. You ended up staying for a while talking with her before you went back to cafe.
When you walked through the cafe doors you saw Pakunoda in her burgundy suit getting ready to leave.
"Oh, you have to go." You said disappointed.
"I can't stay anyway. Your mother doesn't know about us so it would be strange if we were both staying in the cafe."
"Yeah but she's at my place not like she will know." You stepped closer to her and placed your hands on her waist.
"You really want to take that chance?"
"Yes." You answered without hesitation.
She chuckled at you then kissed your forehead.
"No here." You said pointing to your lips.
She rolled her eyes playfully then kissed your lips.
"Happy?"
"Sorta."
"Sorta?" She raised a brow leaning in again, this time kissing you more passionately. She snaked her arm around your waist and placed her hand on your lower back, pressing her body closer to you as her tongue swirled around yours. She didn't break the kiss as she started walking closer to the counter. She swiftly lifted you on top of it as if you were weightless.
"You're lucky I closed all the blinds already." She rubbed your lips with her thumb as she spoke. "Wanna do it right here?"
You were taken back her words, lately she was quite bold about wanting to fuck you somewhere other than the bedroom.
"Sorry I was joking, I actually have to go now." She said backing away and heading for the door.
