"Au!" Carter yelled, running over to us.
"Is he alright?" Kanja asked, following after Carter.
Hikaru fell back and panted. "Ask... Him."
Aurelius looked around in confusion. "Did I lose? How?" He touched his forehead. "It must've been faster than her other attacks as I don't recall a thing."
Hikaru smiled. "You can't... as I reversed time. It sadly means losing your memories. That said... you did a pretty good job... out there."
"Yeah, you were amazing. You had Tamara on the ropes for a bit there," Carter said, grinning as he squeezed his friend's shoulder."
Aurelius furrowed his brow. "I did?" His emerald eyes glanced at Tamara. I had finished healing her broken arm.
Tamara smiled and nodded.
Aurelius grinned and fell back down. "Ah! I'm exhausted!"
"Odd. You should be at the same point as when you finish restoring yourself."
Aurelius laughed. "I was tired after that. Tamara's relentless blows did a number on me. I'm surprised I managed to give her a challenge after all."
Carter chuckled. "Don't underestimate yourself."
I smiled and walked away.
"Where are you going?" Yuzuki asked.
"I need some fresh air to unwind."
"Alright. Though, the next match will start soon."
"Don't worry, I'll only be for a little."
Yuzuki scoffed. "Why would I worry about you? It's Lei who I don't want to see be concerned for you."
I glanced at the box. "Was he worried about me?"
Yuzuki narrowed her eyes at me. "What do you think? Of course, he was. You're his friend."
I averted my gaze. Right, I was only a friend to him. The one he liked was her.
"Sis!" a voice called out. My eyes widened as Elliot ran over toward us.
"Huh? What is he doing here?" Yuzuki asked, annoyed. What he did on the road to the ruins probably continued to anger her. Not that I blamed her. It was stupid of him to have brought the kids with him.
"Oh, hey, Yuzu!" Elliot said.
"Hello, Zhuang."
He tensed. "Why did you use my real name?"
Yuzuki narrowed her eyes at him. "You know why."
Elliot sighed. "Are you still mad about me bringing Serein and Azure to the ruins?"
"Of course I am! My nephew and his friend could've died!"
"Seems everyone has some beef with someone today," Hideo said, appearing behind Elliot.
