Taylor's POV

I walked out to Bethan's car, after she called me to say she was at my place. As I stood outside the passenger seat door to open it, Bethan looked up, smiled and leaned over from her seat to unlock the door from inside. I felt my heart flutter. "You know, I could have done that myself," I said, laughing as I got in. "I know, but you deserve to have little treats like that in life," she giggled as she started her engine up again. "Well," I said leaning over, and gently placing my finger under her chin. "Do I deserve another one?" I said, as I leaned in to kiss her. My lips pressed against her, I felt as if I was almost melting in to her. Her hand rested on the crook of my neck, as my thumb started to slowly rub her jawline. We broke away, our foreheads leaning against each other. She giggled. "What?" I said, smiling as she sat back and began to start the car up. "Nothing, just picked the wrong day to wear red lipstick," she laughed. I pulled down the sun visor and looked in the mirror, noting my new addition of colour to my lips. I sighed as she laughed once more and then turned on the radio.

"That was amazing," Bethan said, as we walked out of the theatre. I munched on our left over popcorn as we discussed the best bits of the movie we saw, "The Place Beyond the Pines." "If I had known you were such a Ryan Gosling fan girl I wouldn't have suggested it," I laughed. She blushed but then held my free hand as we walked out the cinema, tip toeing to kiss my cheek. "I'm a much bigger Taylor York fangirl." It was my time to blush.

We were sitting on Bethan's living room floor, eating Indian food that we had picked up on our way back. I couldn't help but watch her as she set everything out on the floor. Her hair, which I had grown slightly longer since I met her, was wrapped up in a messy bun her head, her eye makeup slightly smudged, a purple bra strap falling down the side of her arm. Her bushy red eyebrows were furrowed as she dished out the food. She was beautiful. I thought I had fallen hard. She looked up and smiled. I then knew I had fallen hard.

"Right, we've been avoiding it all evening, tell me how today went," I said as we washed the dishes at her sink. She sighed. "Good, really good," she said. "But why do you sound so upset?" I asked tentatively. "It just...it just...I don't know," she said, turning off the tap and walking away. I sighed and dried my hands, catching up with her as she reached the living room. I placed my hands on her waist and turned her to face me. "You do. Talk to me," I said, leaving forward to kiss her forehead. She rested her head on my chest and took a deep breath. "Okay." We sat down on the sofa, and I held her hand, stroking it.

"I just got annoyed at myself. I thought about how I threw it all away. About how I got in to that situation in the first place. I just regretted it so much. And now I just don't know. I love music Taylor. I love music so much. But I feel like I can't go back to it, back to them, after everything I've done." "So you're seriously considering the band happening again?" I asked. "It's not that I'm organising it, I'm just upset that it had it to even end. Like, I wonder where we could be now if I hadn't of messed up." "Bethan, everyone's allowed to mess up," I said. "I know, I just wish I hadn't lost so much in the process." I pulled her close into my chest and rubbed her back. "Listen up. Your mistakes don't define you okay? And if you want to make music, you will make music. And if you want the band back together, you will get it back together. Someone like you can achieve anything with such a multitude of talent and sheer grit. You are a strong human being with a beautiful beating heart and a soul as alight as your hair colour." I felt her giggle. "It'll all work out. And I'm going to be there to help you whenever, wherever. I will always be there for you. Always." I kissed the top of her head. She looked up and held a hand to my face, tears staining her cheeks. "Oh Taylor, I l-thank you." My heart stopped. "It's okay," I said, taking her head back into my chest. We laid there, and I felt her breath slow down, till she eventually fell asleep in my arms. I don't know how she managed that because I had never felt my breathing so rapid. Was she going to say what I think she was about to?
