~Suga's POV~

I heard Natsumi scream, and ran up the stairs. I opened the door and flipped the lights.

"What happened?"

Her mom looked at me and pulled me out the room.

"She had a nightmare. I tried to wake her, and she instantly started freaking out. Now she's in the corner curled in a ball. And I can't do anything to help her."

I look into the room and Natsumi is rocking back and forth, crying and whimpering. With a sigh I look back at her mother, and she is also on the verge of tears as she watches her.

"We were hoping that it wouldn't be like this. May I try to calm her down?"

She sighed and nodded. I walked in slowly and knelt down by her, but not too close.

"NaNa?"

Timidly, she looked up at me, and I opened my arms for her.

"Come here sweetheart."

She rushed into my arms and clung to me.

"Shh. It's ok. You're safe. Do you want some water?"

She nodded and I grabbed the glass to help her drink. I rubbed her back as she took a couple of deep breaths.

"Better?"

She nodded and gave me a weak smile.

"Good. I'm going to pick you up now, and sit you back on the bed ok?"

Slowly, I picked her up and put her back in bed. She winced as she tried to get comfortable.

"Let me see your ankle."

She lifted her foot, and gingerly placed it in my lap.

"Looks like it's swollen again. I'll go get you some ice."

I felt a hand on my shoulder, and looked up to see her teary eyed mother looking at her with sad eyes.

"No, I'll go... please stay here with her."

"Sure."

She walks out, and I turn my attention to Natsumi. I wipe her tears away and try to give her a smile.

"Hey, you ok now?"

She reaches for her phone and starts typing.

'I'm sorry.'

I pulled her close and gave her tight hug. I could feel how much she was shaking as I held her.

"You have nothing to be sorry for."

We stayed like that for a long time before she emerged from my arms.

'Where's mom? She's been gone for a while, can you go check on her please?'

'She never fails to amaze me. Shaking and her face full of tears, she still manages to care for others.'

"Ok, I'll be right back."

I walk downstairs to the kitchen to find her mom crying.

"Hey, are you ok?"

She stood straighter and wiped her face.

"Sorry, I was... just finishing with the ice."

Concerned, I walked towards her and leaned against the counter.

"What's on your mind?"

She was so quiet after I asked her that. I didn't think she would talk, but just like her daughter she answered me honestly.
