"1...2...3...GO" The pair jumped.
Jack sat watching as Bishop and Herrera left the room. He looked down at Claire, she was coming in and out of consciousness. So Jack was basically alone in the burning building. He got up and started pushing on the beam again. This time it moved ever so slightly.
"YES CLAIRE YES LOOK" Jack screamed of joy.
"WE MUST HAVE DISLODGED IT A BIT EARLIER" He kept pushing, as soon as it moved further, Claire gasped, blood started pouring out.
"NO CLAIRE WE JUST GOT THE BEA-"
A third explosion went off.
"Another bomb has exploded live as we speak. We're hearing back now it was from the preschool building. Which was thankfully evacuated after the second explosion." The scripted news man spoke.
Unaware that Lieutenant Jack Gibson and preschool teacher Claire Jackie were still inside.

Carina's eyes were glued to the television in her heavily pregnant patients room, she was desperately looking for Maya in the background. She had seen Warren and Hughes but that was all.
"Someone you know there?" The labouring woman spoke through a contraction.
"Yeah, um my girlfriend, she's a fire captain" Carina smiled slightly, trying to hold tears back. She focused back on the woman, checking how dilated she was, trying to ignore the awful gut feeling she had that was leaving a weird taste in her mouth.
"Right Mandy you're 10 centimetres let's get this baby out" Carina said as her team of nurses came in the room.
The woman was progressing very quickly, as the head crowned a massive noise came from the television, however the volume was low due to the fact their was a screaming woman birthing a baby.
"Someone turn that up" Carina was panicked now. Trying to deliver a baby while worrying if Maya was alive or not was testing her sanity.
"If you've just tuned in, there was a third explosion in the preschool building" The news reporter informed.
"Mandy PUSH" Carina refocused on her patient.
"Oh...oh no, folks I've just been told there were multiple firefighters and a civilian still inside the building of the third explosion."
"SCHMITT" Carina screamed as a tear rolled down her face.
"Get my phone and text Captain Bishop please"
"Right away" Schmitt ran out of the room.

"Right listen up, we've got four seriously ill patients about to come through, three being fire fighters so please stay vigilant. We'll send the worst to trauma one and two. " Hunt announced to the group of medical staff stood in front of him.
"I just heard back from Ben, thank god" Bailey said as she walked over to Hunt.
"Do you know who's coming in?" Owen asked.
"No, Ben wouldn't tell me, he just said be ready" Bailey said as sirens approached the ER doors.
"Right let's go go go" Owen shouted, he and a few other people ran to meet the paramedics.
"Female, 35, full thickness burns to a significant amount of the body, went into cardiac distress on route, vitals stable now" The paramedic spoke as he wheeled Maya out of the ambulance.
"Right get her to trauma one" Hunt directed.
"What else have we got?" He grabbed the paramedics arm.
"Another similar to Bishop. One decreased on scene. Another has been down for 10 minutes" The paramedic looked sad.
