You: Oh good! You guys came!
Harrison: We just got back
Kristen: The apartment still looks great!
Tom: So, no one's trashed it?
Kristen: Nope, it's perfectly fine
You: Speaking of...
Kristen: Are you going to say what I think you are!?
You smile at her and nod
Kristen: Oh my god! YES!
Harrison: What just happened?
Tom: We are moving to New York
You: With you guys
Harrison: That's amazing!
Kristen: Things have gotten that bad?
You: Maybe worse...
Tom: Moving to New York gives them a fresh start, plus Ryker wants to go to NYU anyway
You: And they'll all stay together
Kristen: Your kids moving shouldn't have to do with ours
Tom: Yours were a bonus
Harrison: So, you're really moving?
You: Yeah...it's what's best for our children if we do
Kristen: What about this house?
You: We'll summer here
Tom: And leave the other people here, it's already paid off
Liv: Daddy?
Tom: Yes baby?
Liv: I'm hungry
Tom: Then let's feed your tummy
He picked her up and carried her to the kitchen
Harrison: Livvy's adorable
You: She's a piece of work
Kristen: All kids are though
You: I just hope they don't go through what Haylee and Ryker did
Harrison: Even if they do, look how great Ryker and Haylee are
Kristen: They're strong kids
You: I'm just worried
Kristen: Don't be
Tom comes out of the kitchen with a sleeping Liv
You: She asleep?
Tom: Yeah, turns out it was nap time
You: Oh, my Livvy girl. You want me to put her down?
Tom: I've got her. I want to nap too, why not play with Caleb?
You: The other kids stole him
You all laugh and Tom goes up with Liv
Ryker: Mom?
You: Yes bubs?
Ryker: I just got this...
You: What is this?
Ryker: I'm not sure
You: This looks like a bad attempt at an apology...
Ryker: It doesn't change what happened
You: I know it doesn't. You can just throw it out if you'd like. You don't need to accept it, it's your choice
Ryker: Thanks mom
You: Of course
Haylee: Mom? Can you take Caleb?
You: Yes, give him here
You take Caleb from Haylee, and he lays his head on your shoulder
You: Where are you guys going?
Haylee: Just to the beach, but he was falling asleep
You: Have fun and be careful, please
Haylee: Always
You went up to Caleb's room and sat in the rocking chair. You laid him on your chest and started to rock back and forth. Slowly Caleb fell asleep, along with you
You: Hey...
Tom: Guess you were tired
You: What time is it?
Tom: 5:30
You: Wow, can you grab Caleb, please?
Tom: Already taken care of. Put him down before waking you up
You: You really are the best
Tom: And so are you
You and Tom head downstairs letting Caleb stay asleep
Liv: Mommy!
You: Livvy! How was your nap?
Liv: Good. I was next to daddy
You: Yeah?
Liv: Mhm. Kept me in a hug
Tom: Got to keep my Livvy warm
He pinched her cheeks and you put her down
Liv: I'm going outside!
Tom: She's a piece of work
You: Yeah, but what kids aren't?
Tom: God, I love you
You: And I love you more
Tom: Not possible
Well, that's the end of A New Chapter Begins! I will most likely write an epilogue for a few years in the future and may do some extra bonus chapters as well, but haven't decided that just yet.
