"I think we will really get along." Christine said clasping Ada's hand. Ada blushed she didn't want to be here with Christine, she wanted to be with Erik. "Would you like some tea?" Christine offered. "Yes please, thank you." Ada reluctantly smiled.
"So how long have you been working here?" Christne questioned.
"Just sence rehearsals started."
"And this is your first job at the Opera?"
Ada nodded thinking of Erik causing her to blush again.
"That is impressive they usually put you in the back first."
Ada laughed a little looking down, "A... friend in higher places helped me get in he got me the audition."
Christie looked up at the golden clock hanging on the wall, "Oh no! I am late to meet Raoul for dinner. It was nice to meet you."

Christine turned on a heel, grabbed her shawl and left the room. Ada could finally breath, she glanced around the prima donna room in search of his secret door. Ada found the secret knob and turned it. "Erik!" She gasped putting her hand on her chest, "Were you watching us?" Tears stained Erik's visabol cheek and dropped from under his mask onto the ground. "I can't ever be with her." He sobbed, Ada closed her eyes. "Erik," Ada sighed thinking of what to say to him. She thought of what to say, he looked so pitiful sitting on the ground with his knees to his chest. "I cant believe you!" She blew up rubbing her temples.
Erik glared at her through bloodshot eyes. "I've helped you get off of your morphine, get your health back. We use to talk and laugh, you use to tell me stories and play for me!" Erik softened, and chewed his malformed lip. "Erik, I love you." Erik's heart stopped. "You?"
Ada placed her hand on his face he drew away instinctively, "Erik, If you can trust anyone trust me." She leaned forward placing her hand on his cheek again, she had never touched him except for when he was shot. At that time he was cold with grey tinted skin and bones now he had filled out his face was no longer sunken in but now very attractive.

Ada leaned in closer she could feel his warm breath on her face, "I love you." Gently she pressed her lips to his, he drew back sucking in a breath of air. She wrapped her arms around him, "Ada," he whispered, "how how can you care for me?" He shot a glance through the hidden window at Christine who had just come back in with Raoul to pick up something they had forgotten. "She grew up." He whispered looking at Christine who was kissing Raoul. "I loved her," He cried, "I was a monster to them."
Ada grabbed his gloved hand, "Not to me, you are not a monster."

Erik's eyes welled up again, "Ada, how are you such a beautiful person?" He wept into her shoulder.
"Erik I am not a beautiful person, not like her."
She sighed slowly, after all she just said to him how could she not see?
"Ada, you are! You're stunning! Your spring emerald eyes, how they light up when you smile! Your heart, I was in the lowest of the lows and you saved me. I was going to kill myself the day you came to the theater you saved me!"

Ada ran her delicate fingers through his hair, "How about I get you some dinner?" He offered gently.
"No, I'll get you dinner you will just steal it."
Erik laughed, "No I mean a real dinner." Ada sat up her eyes widened.
"You mean a real dinner? In a real restaurant?" Erik nodded giving a nervous sigh.
"Now get your shawl before I change my mind." Ada jumped up giving him a little peck on his cheek, he jumped raising an eyebrow.
"How about the restaurant on the corner in 20 minutes?" Ada double checked before leaving.

Erik ran down to his lair his nerves were through the roof. He was going to dinner! With a girl he was in his early thirties and never had been out to a restraint!

Nadir suddenly popped up from Eriks chair. "Oh my god man!" Erik gasped putting his hand to his chest he was completely unaware of Nadir's presence. Nadir laughed "where are you going in such a rush?" He joked sarcastically. "Nadir! She told me she loved me! God what do I do?" Erik moaned putting his hands to his face.

"Wait, Christine did? Erik you're going down a dangerous path."

"No you stupid idiot Ada, and we are going to dinner." Erik said running out of his flat.

"I want every little detail Erik!" The Persian called as Erik jogged down the tunnel.
A newfound energy surging through his veins.

"Oh my god Ada, I can't believe I am doing this." Erik mumbled to Ada adjusting his hat tilting it down over his mask.
Ada giggled tucking her arm in the crook of his arm, "Erik thank you."

They walked through the Paris streets the snow crunching beneath their feet. They approached the restaurant. Erik froze, "Ada, I don't think I can do this I'm a wanted man." Ada stood in front of him grasping his gloved hands causing him to gasp. "Erik listen to me, it is going to be ok no one has seen you in years you're just a myth now."
Erik sighed and nodded, adjusting his suit collar and hat covering the white mask.

"A table for two." Ada ordered the waitress with a warm smile. Erik kept his head down as they walked to their table. "Oh could we have a more private table?" Ada questioned the waitress. "Sure thing." The woman lead them to a new table in the corner.

"Thank you for the private table." Erik whispered with a smile his voice shaking slightly. "It is the least thing I could do for you. I really appreciate you doing this for me." Erik blushed slightly, "You deserve the world."

There food arrived they sat and ate. Erik was tapping his fingers on the table and occasionally his plate. Ada couldn't help but laugh at his nervous quirk. "Are you composing?" She giggled Erik jumped, "uh no. Ummm How are rehearsals going?" He asked his running his fingers along his water glass rim. "They are going great the show will be a success, but the guy who sits next to me needs to find a tune though." Erik chuckled "yeah I've picked him out he may get a note in the near future." Ada talked about practice and Erik listened his eyes never leaving her.

"I'm surprised Nadir hasn't tried to join us." Erik joked with a faint smile. "How did you two meet?" Ada questioned taking a sip of water.

Erik snickered "he was chief of police the Daroga he was sent by the shah to kill me." Ada's jaw dropped, "really?"
"Yes then he saw my architecture designs and convinced the shah and his mother to spare me. He had to then smuggle me out a few years later."
Ada's eyes were wide, "How did you get to the opera house?" Erik shifted nervously, "I was... Traveling... With the gypsies Madam Giry the old ballet instructor brought me to the populaire."

"Monsieur et Madame de Chagny! It's a pleasure." The waitress exclaimed from behind them.

"Oh my god." Erik mumbled closing his eyes.
