"Oh my god it's Christine and the fop." Erik whispered his hands clenching and unclenching in anticipation.
"Ada we should go." Erik mumbled covering the side of his face with his hand. Ada nodded and waved down the waitress. "Are you going to be ok?" She asked as Erik paid the bill Erik nodded, "Yes I will be fine." Erik and Ada stood up locking arms.
They walked past the couple with a little boy Raoul had not changed he was just as handsome as ever the waitress swooned over the fact of serving the Viscount and his wife.

"It was a wonderful night Erik." Ada remarked softly standing on her tip toes and giving him a quick kiss. Erik blushed his face warmed at her delicate touch. "I'll see you tomorrow. Bye."
Erik waved her off as she turned to leave, "I'm happy for you Erik." Christine's voice commented once Ada was out of hearing range. Erik spun around wide eyed. "How... How did you get past all my traps?"
Christine laughed, "I know you well my angel of music." Erik stood up straighter, "I'm moving on Christine, go to Raoul and leave me be, please I don't want to go back to where I was."
Christine looked down, "I merely came to say I'm proud of you, I saw you at dinner you seemed happy." Erik tended up, "I won't tell my husband." She turned to walk away before stopping again, "Erik, I never even knew your name." Erik chewed his lip trying to contain the urge to run to her like before when there was no Ada or do what he knew was right and keep himself under control.
Erik watched her leave. Slowly he got up and poured himself a glass of wine and sat down, "Keep controle Erik."

"Where have you been?" Denis questioned Ada as she walked into her house. "I am getting tired of covering for you when you're gone." Ada just smiled her thoughts a milion miles away from where they were. Denis rolled his eyes at this love struck girl, "You are hopeless." Denis growled, "We went out to dinner, I kissed him and told him I loved him."
Denis looked at his little sister wide eyed he still didn't trust Erik they were mostly just acquaintances who talked only when it concerned Ada or the construction of the opera house.
"I'll be back." Denis growled standing from his place in the parlor. "Denis! Wait." Ada called but he ignored her.
Denis ran to the outside entrance to Erik's lair and snuck in. He made his way to the entrance of his flat. Erik stood at his counter pouring a glass of crimson red wine. Denis flew himself at Erik sending him to the stone ground. Erik gave a cry of shock, "I have it in my mind to beat you to a pulp." Denis spit pinning Erik to the ground. "What did I do?" Erik questioned laughing a little. "You kissed my sister!" Denis growled "She's just a child."
Erik couldn't help but laugh as he threw Denis off of him and got up off the floor. "Would you like a glass?" Erik offered calmly a smirk plastered on his masked face. "Now about her being a child I have to say I disagree with you. Denis, she is almost 23. I probably did deserve that hit though." Erik laughed rubbing his shoulder the same one Denis had shot it.
Denis Chewed his lip and blushed from embarrassment. "I'm sorry Erik I overreacted." Erik shook his head he was angry at Denis but he didn't let it show, "If it makes the matter better, I would have done the same if I had a little sister." He told Denis with a little chuckle.
"No Erik you would have killed him." Erik laughed warmly, "Yes probably."
They switched from wine to some brandy as the two sat down. "I guess what is really bothering me is... I don't want to keep lying to my father about why Ada has been skipping the family dinners and why she's so happy."
Erik got a little antsy, "I can't talk to people like you and Ada do, believe me when I say that's all I ever wanted."
"Im sorry Erik I acted in haste I trust you with Ada, I just hate lying to my father." Erik looked down at his drink, "Can I trust your father?" He finally asked. Denis looked up shocked, "I believe so, he doesn't know much of the opera or the phantom."
Erik sighed, "Ada has asked me to meet her father before, if it's important to you two I'll accept."
"Thank you, is tomorrow night ok?" Denis questioned, Erik nodded. "Oh and I think it would be a great surprise for Ada."
Erik nodded again, "So that means I don't tell her?"
"Yes."
