"Dammit Nadir! Would you stop?" Erik hissed smacking his old friends hand away. A tap sounded on the door, "I'll get it." Nadir sighed opening the door. "Twenty minutes." Denis announced. "I feel sick." Erik moaned leaning on the desk. "It's normal." Denis laughed closing the door. "Nadir,"
"Erik, just breath. Today is no different than any other day."
"Oh shut up old man." Erik snarled.-----------------
"I can't believe this!" Christine gasped looking at Ada in the wedding dress.
"Christine I'm shaking, I'm so excited and nervous!" Ada blushed her smile unable to get any bigger.
"He's waiting." Denis said through the door, "I feel sick." Ada murmured. "You sound like Erik." Denis chucked turning to leave.----------------
Erik stared at the few people just Nadir, Denis and his father, and Christine who snuck in before the organ started playing. Erik tried to control his shaking and rapid breathing but he couldn't. Ada walked through the door she was the image of perfection. Her dress formed her body beautifully tight down to her hips and draped down to the floor. The top was lace she was simple and modest reflecting her personality. Erik was overjoyed when her long strawberry blonde hair was down slightly curled.
He offered her his hand trying desperately not to shake, and opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out he couldn't think of anything that would do her justice. Erik couldn't even hear the ceremony that was taking place "do you take Ada Marie to be your wife?" The priest asked, Erik froze this was it! "I Do." Erik choked barely able to muster the words. "You may kiss the bride."
Erik gasped at the man's words, Ada was his wife he would never lose her everything they had been through was behind them. It was a new chapter, the next act was beginning.
Slowly he leaned in for a kiss sealing the deal
Her lips on his felt like a whirlwind leaving him breathless. "I love you." He whispered softly. The guests all crowded around the newlyweds offering their congregations it was all a haze he wanted to enjoy the moment but his excitement was too much.
"You two will miss your ship." Denis voiced you should get to the docks. Erik nodded feeling a bit of sorrow for leaving his home. "By papa." Ada cried wrapping her and around her father "I'll write."Erik took his turn to say goodbye to his father in law. "You take care of her you hear boy?" The man lectured grasping Erik with his big bear arms. "I will with my life."
Erik turned to Denis "thank you for all you have done for me over these last few years.""Goodbye."
It was a bittersweet goodbye they were overjoyed to start their new life. Erik tipped his hat down over his mask with Ada in his arm. They walked to their ship and checked in they found their room it was small just a bed with a wash bin but it was enough.
"Madam Y." Erik sighed pulling her close to his chest. Ada giggled as he kissed her neck letting his teeth scrape gently. "Erik that tickles!" She gasped.
She began fiddling with his shirt a smile stretched across her lips. Erik let it slide off of him as she looked at his chest marked with scars and burns inflicted on him by people that believed that he was worth nothing she felt the lash marks that criss crossed his back. "No one will ever hurt you again." She sighed.
They became one together hearts pounding as one. Erik lay in the bed panting once they were finished and exhausted Ada was already drifting off to sleep her little body tangled up with his this was a dream he never thought he could have. Erik kissed her one last time and fell asleep.
