Facing your past
Angel’s POV
I smile as I look at my presents, It is my birthday and I’m clocking 15, Xavier is by my side grinning as he gives me his present, it’s a small box as I open it, I grasp smiling at it, it’s a long heart shaped necklace with both our picture in it‘It looks pretty expensive, I love it but you could have bought me a bear I wouldn’t mind’ I say kissing his cheeks

‘Babe, I’m going to the toilet’ He says smirking, I leave his laps standing up to go to the main room where everyone is, suddenly wet stuff pour on me making me glare at the person
‘Amanda’ I mutter storming off, I enter the bathroom ripping off my birthday gown before heading to the showersI come out fully dressed before seeing him

My  dad was always the weird man that never understood me but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love him, I came back from the bathroom fully dressed and there was this weird man in front of me, he had red eyes and he had white hair just like me.
‘Angel, or should I say Aurora, your time is up, it’s time to come home to me’. he said, I tried to scream but nothing would come out
‘You see Angel I’m sure that you’ve noticed that you’re nothing like others, I’m going to tell you a story. I had a mate, she was just like you, I’m sure you know what a mate is, you’ve read books right darling, so I loved her and we were planning on building an empire, she wasn’t exactly the nicest mate, she had this vision of ruling this world, so we planned to combine our powers to rule this world. I’m sure you’re wondering what exactly we are but I won’t tell you that, that’s your job to figure out. So we had everything planned but on the night of the attack, my mate was nowhere to be found, you see she had been pregnant and kept it all away from me, she used a concealing spell to hide it. So she gave birth on the very day that we were supposed to rule. She betrayed me and I was ridiculed in front of my slaves, I still loved your mother but then she came to me saying she met her real mate, I realized that the legends were true, special beings of ours had three mates meant to lead us to destruction. She had three mates and she met another, I wasn’t willing to share so I told her to pick but she said looking at her baby she didn’t want her to live a lie like mine and she was picking him, she disappeared after that. I tracked her and her misery mate who was actually human and killed them and the baby, so look at my surprise when I found out that I didn’t actually killed the baby and it was a different baby. I was delighted, I finally was going to have an heir but where was the baby? I didn’t know so I married another woman and had two more babies, just incase anything happened to my original baby. One died and when I was walking just one day on the streets of London, imagine my surprise when I met someone who looked exactly like my mate’. He said, I was still processing everything he was saying, what did that have to do with me?
‘What does that have to do with me?’’ I asked, the man laughed
‘You are the baby darling, I’m your father, you can’t deny the resemblance and the powers’. He said laughing, at that very moment, my dad climbed up the stairs to my room.
‘Honey, everyone’s waiting for you downstairs’. He mentions as he enters the room, he looked shocked to see the man.
No, no don’t you think….
I was going to warn dad but I was too late, he was already pinned to the wall by magic I guess and was coughing blood.
‘You see, I’m going to help you unleash your true beast, a shape shifter who had the ability to destroy’. I was heading to dad when I was injected something and I saw red. My eyes changed to red and my hands turned to claws, it got worse as I started shaking and everything else shaked with me. I was making the whole house move violently and I tried to stop but it didn’t work. As I saw myself get consumed with fire, I remember the man who caused this whispering in my ears
‘I’ll be back when your older and more matured, oh and that Xavier guy seems like your first mate, you may not notice it but he feels the tingles’. He said before disappearing, Xavier, dad, mom, they were all in the house.
Noooooo, I remember turning into fire and it was black but I heard a voice real quiet whisper to me

I woke up alive but I looked around, I saw that I was in the hospital and everything that happened rushed back.Dad, XavierI looked around to spot mom looking all sad and depressed
‘Mom, what happened?’ I asked
‘There was a fire, you’re your ddad couldn’t make it, five others died and fifteen injured. Xavier is fine’. She said breaking into tears, I joined remembering it was all my fault.I killed them
‘Mom, who died?’ I asked
‘Amanda, Rebecca, Gina, Liam and Willams died’. She said, I gasp in shock as every single name mentioned were people who pestered me in school and I hated them.They weren’t random people that died

I was dancing with River when I saw him, he was like a shadow, it was the guy that claimed to be my father.I followed the shadow as it kept taunting me with that smile, River was also chasing me. i was lead outside before it disappeared into the dark, it was snowing though it wasn’t yet time or snow.
