2 hours since I've arrived back at my dorm. 2 hours of my new roommate, Amy, talking in 2x speed about how she's from Connecticut and a marketing major and umm... I can't remember what she said after, I sort of zoned out.

"listen Amy", I say gently; she seems like the sensitive type, "it's getting late and I think we both need to go to bed, I have a 9 am lecture tomorrow. but it was nice meeting you"

" you too! I can't wait to get to know you better. Can you believe we're in university!?", she exclaimed. I smile and nod.

I get changed and go to bed.

It's about 8 am now. I get changed into a pair of long black jeans and a tight black tank top paired with a large jacket and a black hat. I do my make up and leave. I pride myself on my punctuality so you can imagine my surprise when I realize I'm late.

At this point, I'm running to get to my class. luckily it is only about 6 minutes late I silently head in. I look around to find an empty seat. it's like a hit to my chest when I find that the only seat available is beside the asshole from the bookstore. I move to the back of the lecture hall and sit beside him.

It's about 30 minutes into the lecture and something felt off. at first, I thought maybe its the asshole but the professor keeps talking about how the greatest lawyers made their way to the top. At first, I thought maybe he's passionate about the law and was using it as an example but panic fills me when I realise I've been sitting in the wrong class for 30 minutes!?! not only did I arrive late for the lesson but I'm in the wrong lecture as well. I guess you can count on me to make dumb mistakes. In my defence, I was too distracted by the unfairly attractive jerk sitting next to me to realise that I'm in the wrong class.

It would be too humiliating to walk out in the middle of the lecture so I decide to stay till the end. Mr.asshole lowers his mouth to my ear and whispers, "lovely meeting you again". so he remembers me.

" Wish I could say the same", I reply.

we continue to watch the lecture. Law isn't that bad, but then again this is only the first lesson. architecture is known to be a strenuous major but so is the law.

"I didn't know you were a law student", he whispers again. His voice tickles my ear in a nice way.

"that's because you don't know me"

some students stare at me with shock. I'm not sure why.

"true.", he says.

I leave the lecture hall and walk away.

Its been about a month since classes have started and let me just say that my workload seems to increase by the day. I have like 7 projects to finish by the end of the month and to say I'm overwhelmed would be an understatement. To make matters worse today's my birthday and I have no intention of celebrating.
