Chapter eleven ✿

Tanjiro's p.o.v

"Don't touch her!" I yelled as the demons took her under the water ,I managed to slice of one of their arms before it disappeared. A demon came up from the ground and just in time I slashed off his arm,

'I missed again! He moves so fast.."

Just as the first demon went back underground, another demon came out from the wall

'Oh crap, I'm too close to the wall!'

The demon went behind me and was about to attack when Nezuko kicked it back, getting out of the box, The demon landing on it back unable to move.

"Why in the world would a demon be accompanying a mere human?" I heard the voice of the other demon from beside me.

The demon continued his thoughts, before going back underground, the other demons head twisting until it was brought back underground too.

Nezuko turned to Mr Kazumi and the girl, walking up to them and gently placing her hands on their cheeks,

"Nezuko.." I said quietly

Nezuko turned to face the other way,

-flashback-

"I don't know if this will be of any comfort, but while nezuko was asleep, I used hyponic suggestion on her." Urokodaki said

"What for?" I asked, y/n just looked at him confused

"I convinced her that all her humans are her family, I told her to protect them, the demons are your enemies!"

-flashback end-

Nezuko turned to face the two demons that came back up, running towards them,

"If a demon harms a human..Never forgive them!" Urokodaki's words replayed in her head

She tried to kick the demons back underground, but, they went back down themselves right before she got to do it,

"Nezuko! No don't chase him! Get back here! Come to me.." I yelled, as she started running back to me, a demon coming back up and trying to grab her

"No Nezuko!" I yelled as my eyes widened in fear

But she jumped over it,

'This is what Urokodaki was talking about, Nezuko is a demon now, she's not a weakling..she doesn't need me to protect her, she can handle herself, so maybe, she can handle this..' I thought to myself 'If she can protect these two, I can focus on my attack..And I need to get y/n!'

A demon tried to get her again,

"Nezuko!"

I looked at the water on the ground,

"Nezuko, i'm going underground. Keep them safe for me." I said

"Can you do that?" I asked

She stayed silent for a second, but then nodded

I stood in the water and let myself sink underground, once I got down there, I opened my eyes,

'It's a swamp..' I thought to myself

As I was sinking down, I saw tons of clothes, and stuff.

'It's clothes and stuff that belonged to the people who were taken..So many innocent victims, all murdered, it's unforgivable..Unforgivable!'

"Getting hard to breathe yet? There isn't a whole lot of air down here in the swamp! Also, the darkness closing in on you will only add to the weight you feel! You can't move the way you would above ground, down here! You should have looked before you left you stupid fool!"

I turned to face the voice, but they were already coming towards me and one was holding..y/n!

'Y/N!' I thought to myself, she was passed out, I looked around, looking back at the demons,

'You underestimate me, after all, where do you think I got my training? The air is even thinner on Mt. Sagiri than it is down here!' I thought to myself,

'Besides, some moves only unleash their true potential underwater!'

The demons were getting closer and closer by the second, but they went away again,

'Guess it goes both ways, they move even faster here! But it doesn't matter, all I have to do is slash when they get close enough!'

They came back, getting extremely close this time, but I started my attack just in time,

'I've got the scent! The Opening thread!'

I turned around to face them,

Total concentration..

Water breathing..

Sixth form...

Whirlpool!

Both of them were decapitated in the whirlpool, I grabbed y/n, and swam back up to the surface, when we got up there, I started shaking her repeatedly, and she finally woke up "Y/n!m You're awake!" I yelled, bringing her into a hug, she was confused for a second, but then hugged me back.
