Chapter Twenty-nine ✿

"GET AWAY!" Tanjiro yelled as he punched and definitely broke, some of inosukes ribs, sending inosuke literally flying

"I heard it, he broke his ribs!" Zeniths yelled

"Aren't you part of the demon slayer corps?! You must understand why zenitsu refuses to draw his sword, because it's taboo for us to fight each other without provocation!" Tanjiro said, continuing his little speech, but I wasn't oaying attention anymore.

-Flashback-

"Don't you dare touch my little sister again!" Sabito yelled as I held my face where I was hit, "You'll see what happens if you do!" He yelled

The other boy started laughing "now what do you think you could possibly do to me, I am obviously the superior one here." He said calmly

"How unfortunate that your sister got your looks" he said, and with that, sabito threw a punch, leaving a swelling bruise on the other boys face "what the hell man!?" He yelled

The boy tried to fight back but before he could sabito showed up behind him and put him in a head lock

"Leave me and my sister alone." He said, releasing the boy, "come on, n/n" he said, taking my hand and walking away, leaving the boy in shock.

-flashback end-

When I snapped back into reality when I heard zenitsu yell "Oh no! He collapsed! Is he...dead?" I looked down and saw the boar kid knocked out

" no, he's not, I think it's a concussion, I did headbutt him pretty hard though.." tanjiro said

"But are you alright Tanjiro?" Teruko asked, "yeah" tanjiro said and nodded

"Amazing! Can I, touch your head?" She asked, to which he replied with a sure and kneeled down,

She lifted her arm up to feel his forehead "Tanjiro, your head is so hard!" She squealed

"TaNjIrO, I'm TerUko aNd I'm GonNa FaNgIrL OvEr YoUr FoReHead- shut the fuck up." I muttered next to zenitsu

"Woah, woah, language" Tanjiro said

"Are you maybe jealous y/n?" Zenitsu asked

"Huh? Of a 5 year old? No way." I answered
