She ran towards the demon slashing off any arms that came towards her, yelling in anger.

"Calm down guys, your breathing is uneven. Stay focused, forget about us..."

Back to Tanjiro's p.o.v

I followed behind her as she ran, but the demon punched me and I landed on a tree "Tanjiro! No!" was the last thing I heard before passing out

Your p.o.v

The demon punched Tanjiro and his back hit a tree so he passed out. "Tanjiro! No!" I yelled, the other guy left, probably so he wouldn't die, I zoned out and the demon did the same thing to me that he did to Tanjiro, except for i'm still conscious, it started walking over to Tanjiro as I tried to grab my sword with the little energy I had left, and right when the demon tried to kill him, he flipped out of it's reach, I don't know what woke him up, but thank god it did.

Tanjiro's p.o.v

I woke up and flipped out of the demons reach at the last second, I saw y/n getting up tiredly with her sword, she saw the demon and adrenaline must have kicked in because after she saw it she gained so much energy, the demon kept reaching out for me but y/n sliced his arms off at the perfect moment each time, "Tanjiro! I can't keep cutting his arms off, they regrow too fast!" I heard y/n yell from behind me,

'she's right' I thought to myself "Thats not going to be enough to defeat me, little fox, but then again, not even that pink haired brat could cut off my head!" He yelled, which caused y/n's eyes to widen in anger.

I slashed it's arm off, 'theres no way I could just let it go, I won't let another life be sacrificed! No more! I'll take him down!' I gripped my sword and ran towards the demon, 'Wait a second, underground!' I jumed over the arms trying to grab me when I saw the demon grabbing y/n "I'm done with you, you brat!" He threw her to the other side of the forest,

"Y/n! No!" I yelled, but my attention had to be on the demon for just a few more minutes. His attention was brought back to me after he realised I had dogged him.

Demon's p.o.v

My attention was brought back to him after I realised he had dogged my arms, 'he jumped?! Dammit!' I thought to myself, this boy was not going to slash my head off, 'Whatever, he won't be able to dodge an attack in mid air!' or so I thought, somehow he got on to my arm and start running towards me,

Tanjiro's p.o.v

He shot another one of his arms at me 'Total concentration, water breathing,' I started my thought while running towards his head, slashing his arms in the process,

Demon's p.o.v

My eyes widened in shock as he got closer and closer 'I let him get to close! Not to worry, my neck is tough, he can't cut through it!'

Tanjro's p.o.v

First form,

As soon as he fails, I am going to grab his head and rush it, just like I did to the other one!

Tanjiro's p.o.v

And then I saw it, the opening thread, I moved closer and closer by the second, and finally got close enough and slashed his head off, Water surface slash!
