Chapter thirteen ✿

Tanjiro turned to face Nezuko, seeing the scratch on her forehead.

"Nezuko!" Tanjiro yelled as he ran towards, "She's asleep..And the bleeding stopped..so that does help her recover..I failed, i'm sorry..Just hang on..I promise you this..I will make you human again.."

Nezuko got back into the box and then Tanjiro walked over to Mr. Kazumi, Y/n walked up to Mr. Kazumi and placed her hand on his shoulder

"Mr. Kazumi.." He said, Mr. Kazumi looking up at him, "Are you alright?" He sat there for a moment, until he finally spoke

"I just lost my fiance..how could I be alright.." He spoke, tears welling up in his eyes

"Mr. Kazumi..You have to go on no matter what..In spite of losing people, even though it's devastating.." Tanjiro said

Mr. Kazumi then grabbed Tanjiro's shirt "How am I supposed to do that!? You're just a kid, what do you know!? How would you feel if that happened to your girlfriend!?" He yelled, pointing at y/n, a light blush dusting her cheeks

Tanjiro placed his hands on top of Mr. Kazumi's, giving him a smile, Mr. Kazumi slowly loosened his grip on Tanjiro's shirt.

"We'll be on our way now, here, Making you'll find something of Mrs. Satoko's in there.." He said, handing Mr. Kazumi the thing with all the hair clips,

He started crying and Tanjiro and y/n started walking away, Mr. Kazumi Gasped and looked up,

"I- I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that! Please forgive me! I'm so sorry!"

Both Tanjiro turned around, "I'm leaving the girl with you! Get her home safe!" He said, while waving

"I'll do that!" Mr. Kazumi said in response, y/n just smiled and waved

As Tanjiro and Y/n were walking away the crow came and started screaming at them,

Landing on tanjiro's shoulder,

"Head to Asakusa, Tokyo now! Rumor has it a demon's lurking around there! Caw!" the crow screeched

"We've got another mission already??" Tanjiro asked in shock (?)

"Oh yes you do!" the crow screeched

"How lovely" Y/n said sarcastically

"Can you at least give us a minute?" Tanjiro asked

"No time, move it!" the crow yelled

Y/n laughed as Tanjiro and the crow bickered

Y/n p.o.v

Once we arrived there Tanjiro looked shocked, while nezuko was sleeping,

We were walking when I felt a sharp pain go through my side, I winced in pain and put my hands on my side

"Are you okay?" Tanjiro asked from beside me

"Yeah, I must have just hurt myself by falling or something from the last mission.." I said, but he did not look convinced, but we kept walking

There were a lot of people so we tried going somewhere less crowded but we saw..some things

"So sorry to bother you!" I heard Tanjiro say from beside me

"How wonderful" I say sarcastically

We eventually found an udon stand thingy

"Excuse me sir," Tanjiro said "Could I get two bowls of udon please?" he asked

"Why yes coming right up"

We sat down on the bench and waiting when I heard Tanjiro say "I've never been to a place like this before, it's way too crowded."

We were eating when suddenly Tanjiro stood up and dropped his bowl, he grabbed his sword and my hand and started running, barely giving me any time to put my bowl down

"Tanjiro! What's going on!" I say, still blushing from the sudden contact, He infally stopped when he saw a guy, he gripped his sword, when we both heard a voice

"Daddy?" the voice of a little girl said, looking over at me and Tanjiro, "Who's that?" she asked, I looked at the guy, my eyes widening, I didn't know who he was, but he looked so familiar,

"I sorry is there something I can do for you? Are you alright? You seem to be a bit flustered." The man spoke when a woman walked up to him

"Darling, what's the matter?" she asked

"Don't worry mother!" The little girl said

I looked over to see Tanjiro place his shaking hand over his mouth, I squeezed his hand reassuringly, though I had no idea what was going on, he let go of my hand and used it to grip his shirt

"Who is this boy?" The woman asked

"I really don't know..I'm just as confused as you are, i've never seen him before.." The guy answered "He must have made a mistake, thought that I was someone else.."

"Oh, you think that's it?" The woman asked

I saw tanjiro's eyes widen, so I followed his gaze and that's when I saw it, the guy was a demon, he had just scratched someone

The guy put his hand on his neck where he was scratched, and started turning into a demon,

"What's going on? Are you alright sweetheart? You look pale." the woman beside him said

He bit the Womans neck, and she screamed in pain

"No stop!" Tanjiro yelled
