Sebastian's POV:

It was the next day, the day when they said they would pull Victoria's life support. My friend and I have been here all day willing our girls to wake up, but they can't. I can't even imagine how they're both feeling. I don't think I could ever fully understand, unless I was put into the same position.

"NO! YOU CAN'T DO IT NOW!! I'm not ready, please." Sawyer broke down by the side of Victoria, clutching her hand desperately in his.

It broke my heart seeing him like this. We've only known them both for the past week or two but the whole time they've been unresponsive. Despite the situation, we both feel a deep connection to these girls and want to spend every moment in our lives with them. Who knows how this connection has formed but we were so lucky. Love at first sight. I thought I was incapable of love, considering what I do for a living and it's scary to admit it but I'm falling. Falling for Anastasia.

"Sir- you have to let go. This is the most peaceful way for her to go. I promise, it'll all be ok" the nurse reassured with a kind voice.

"I just need 10 more minutes, just 10!" Sawyer negotiated. Discouraged by his own guilt. The guilt that weighs more and more by the second.

The nurse gave a sad look, regret plastered across her face, "I really can't do that sir."

"You can, and you will." I said to her in my most dominant voice, urging her to give him 10 more minutes.

She recoiled and quickly nodded her head, backing out of the room and leaving him be. She didn't do anything wrong so I felt a bit bad for snapping at her but at the cost of my friends relief, I'll take it.

"I'll just be in the hallway, take your time- I don't think she will be telling you no any more man."

A tight lipped smile is the only response I got as I too walked out of the room and wandered down the hall to room 203 which was the room my girl Anastasia was in.

I sat down beside her, where I found myself every night, even after a hard day, telling her how much I want her to wake up.

"You have to wake up for me baby, your friend might be pulled off life support tonight and I don't think Sawy-"

My short lived conversation was cut off by Sawyer's screams from the opposite side of the hall.

"SHE'S AWAKE! NURSE HELP!"

"Her hand squeezed my finger! I felt it, I'm not lying- she's awake, my baby is awake!" Sawyer rejoiced despite the grim look on the nurses faces. I was skeptical too and would be absolutely devastated if he was wrong but at this point, anything is worth a shot.

"If you are absolutely certain of that, her heart rate seems to be stable enough for us to remove the tube that is helping her breathe, but let me remind you that if Victoria is to stop breathing on her own after it is taken out- I'm sorry to tell you but there will be a slim chance that she will recover. So you have to be certain of this sir" the nurse informed him.

"I understand- are we able to do it now?"

I was just standing there but I couldn't imagine the look on his face if something was to happen to her.

"Are you sure about this Sawyer?" My eyes were searching him and no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find any doubt in them.

"I've never been more sure in my life."

And that was it.
