Anastasia's POV:
"SEBASTIAN!" I screamed whilst shooting up out of my hospital bed. I'm in so much pain. I hope my love and baby are ok. "SEBASTIAN." I was desperate to see him.
The nurses came rushing in, trying to calm me down but the tears were free-flowing. They couldn't stop. I was bleeding and I'm sure I had a miscarriage.
"My baby" I whimpered.
"Your baby is going to be fine, Miss Hill. It's still got a strong heart beat and your bleeding was just from the trauma" the nurse explained.
I fell to the floor out of both pain and relief. My baby was ok. But I didn't feel ok.
Now that my adrenaline has worn off, and the nurses helped me back onto my bed, I could feel the persistent pain in my ribs.
"I'm afraid you have 2 broken ribs on your left side, luckily, they didn't puncture your lungs however, we will have to monitor your baby closely."
I gasped and my hands went to grab my belly.
"Baby" I sobbed. "Hopefully you and your daddy will be ok."
The nurses left the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Through the window, I could see the sunrise and heard my door opening. I didn't get any sleep at all and my body was weak from crying.
"Ana" Victoria said quietly, Sawyer following in behind her.
I quickly wiped my tears and looked up at them.
"We're so sorry" Sawyer said, walking over to me.
"Is- is-" I choked. "Is he dead?" I couldn't even imagine my life without him. How am I supposed to live and raise our baby alone?
4 years ago:
"What do you mean you lost him?!" I paced across the halls of the hospital.
"We're so sorry, your boyfriend died during surgery because his injuries from the car crash were so severe. He was bleeding internally."
I can't believe it. William is dead.
I was the one driving when a guy ran a red light and crashed into William's side of the car. And I never had the chance to say goodbye. I never will. He's gone for good.
Present:
"Anastasia" Victoria said and brought me out of my thoughts. I was spiralling. "Why were you saying William? Sebastian is still alive."
"Oh my god" I slumped. "He's not dead! He's not like William!" I was so happy. I love Sebastian so much.
"Who's William?" Sawyer questioned.
I heard Victoria explain to Sawyer and he gasped in shock.
Looking over to me in pity he replied, "their situations are so similar. Anastasia must be devastated."
"He must be so mad at me" I cried.
"Who will be mad at you?" Victoria asked, sitting down next to me.
"Sebastian" I whispered, looking down at my hands.
"He's not mad at you, Ana, I promise you" Sawyer ran his hand up and down my back, soothing me.
"I'm pregnant."
The excitement on both of their faces surprised me. I wasn't expecting that reaction.
"YES!" They said in unison.
"What?"
"Anastasia, we're so happy for you!" Victoria squeezed me.
My heart is full.
Conversation carried on and I was distracted from my worries. That was until I remembered what Sebastian said.
"Marco Rodriquez" I said under my breath.
"Did you just say Marco Rodriquez?" Sawyer asked, shocked.
"Yes. He hurt my family. He was the one who hurt Sebastian. He- he- had a gun."
"Fuck" Sawyer raised his voice a little.
A few hours later, Victoria and Sawyer left to go home. It was around 8pm so I had time to do some research on Marco. I want this day to be over. I wished this was all a dream.
After many hours of researching, I found out where he works.
"I'm going to kill this motherfucker."
