Anastasia's POV:

The only sounds that occupied the room were the beeping of monitors and the nurses talking to each other. But no sounds of crying. My heart was constricting and I looked over at Sebastian to see his face pale, he was scared as well.

The umbilical cord was clamped and cut by Sebastian before our daughter was taken over to the little basinet in the corner of the room where the nurses were fighting to get our baby to cry.

"Is our baby ok?" I sobbed, trying to get out of the bed despite the situation going on between my legs.

Sebastian calmed me down and fixed my pillows, reassuring me that everything was going to be ok but was it? Was everything actually going to be ok?

Leah looked over at me, with fear instilled in her eyes as she desperately tried to save our girl.

Finally, the sound of her crying broke through the monitors and Sebastian and I both cried in each other's arms. I was so relieved. My little girl was ok.

"You did it" Sebastian whispered into the crook of my neck, wiping away tears of his own.

"We did it" I smiled at him and looked over to our squirming little girl. "She's a fighter."

"Just like her mummy."

The nurses made sure everything was ok on my end and luckily, it was all good. I didn't have any major tearing, probably due to my experience with large... things. I chuckled.

Leah placed her little blanket-wrapped body into my arms and I struggled to find the words to describe her. My angel.

She was absolutely adorable. Her face was the cutest thing I've ever seen. A perfect combination of Seb and I. She had my blue eyes but Sebastian's lips. His stunning lips.

She stared at us, softly making sounds as her tiny hand made its way out of her swaddle and reached up to her daddy.

Sebastian looked down at her and put his finger near her hand as she grasped it.

My heart melted at the sight. We were all in love and I moved over slightly on the bed, making some room for Sebastian to sit.

He carefully sat down, making sure he wasn't hurting me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, assuring me of his support.

"Perfect" I whispered as the nurses started to leave the room. Leah was the last one to leave but I stopped her in the doorway. She turned around and gave us a smile.

"Thank you, Leah, we couldn't have done it without you. Seriously" I cried, just thinking about the fact that our baby nearly didn't make it.

"You're welcome Anastasia and Sebastian. You both will make fabulous parents. I'll give you all some privacy" she gave a small wave and gently closed the door behind her.

I was in love with our family and can't wait to take on this next chapter.
