George's POV

I woke up with a headache the next morning. I couldn't tell why I felt this bad so I slowly sat up, looking around me for some medication. I didn't see any on my nightstand or my desk so I slowly stood up, walking to the bathroom.

As I was busy grabbing the medication, I glanced in the mirror to see a boy I barely recognised anymore. A boy with big bags under his eyes along with a very pale and hurt face.

Before I got bullied by Clay and Sapnap, I was genuinely happy and I used to be proud of myself. All my confidence, every single bit of it, was crushed by their words. I knew I shouldn't listen, but it happened every day. I couldn't ignore it anymore, it hurt me too badly.

I slowly grabbed the medication and some water as I lifted my right sleeve up to my elbow to stare at the cuts I made yesterday. I groaned as I noticed one of them started bleeding at midnight and I rolled my eyes out of annoyance since this one was my only hoodie.

I breathed out and ignored the cuts. My hoodie was black so no one would see the blood anyway. I would wash it during the weekend and stay in bed all day so my parents wouldn't see my cuts.

I quickly swallowed the pill and then went downstairs to leave the house before anyone would talk to me. I didn't feel the need to eat since someone as fat as me wasn't supposed to and I grabbed the doorknob as someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and looked into the face of my father who smiled at me. 'George, sweetheart. You didn't even say goodbye to us, luckily I heard you downstairs. Good luck today, I love you,' he smiled, giving me a short hug.

I hugged back, feeling guilty that he genuinely thought I still liked school how I used to. He kissed the top of my head and I smiled shortly, turning around again to actually walk off this time. I really wanted to take the bus before Clay's and Sapnap's one.

'Wait, honey. Did you eat already? I know we don't have much at home, but I got my salary yesterday so I bought stuff to make a sandwich with. Do you want one?'

'It's okay, dad. I already ate something and I need to go now because of a project I'm working on.'

'Oh, alright. What project?'

'Just... art class! Bye dad, see you in the evening if I'm awake!' I quickly turned around and walked off before he could stop me, seeing that my bus was already gone.

I rolled my eyes and breathed out as I pulled my hood over my head in the hope Clay and Sapnap wouldn't notice me.

I waited for ten minutes and then saw the bus arrive at the bus stop. I stood up slowly and went inside of it, immediately seeing Clay and Sapnap look up at me. I turned my eyes to the ground and wanted to walk past them, but Sapnap thought he was funny and stuck his leg out.

I tripped over his leg and fell down to the floor, laying down for a second since I hurt my arm and my knee. Clay was staring at me with a lifeless expression in his eyes and then he suddenly got mad as he saw me trying to fight against my tears.

He stood up and lifted me up, pushing me onto a chair as he squeezed my shoulders. 'Don't cry about that, idiot. It's literally nothing in comparison-.' He cut himself off and then looked at the ground. 'Never mind.'

He turned back around to sit next to Sapnap and I looked at the ground, rubbing my hand over my knee and wrist, but the pain didn't even matter to me right now. What did Clay mean? In comparison to what was this nothing? Did he go through something or was he implying that he wanted to beat me up?

I dropped it and stared in front of me, constantly seeing Sapnap turn around to glare at me. Eventually he stuck his fingers into his throat and gagged as he pointed at my body. I looked away in silence, staring out of the window in the hope this would be over soon.

Sapnap gave up when he noticed I wasn't looking at him anymore and I stood up as soon as the bus stopped. But because I was sitting behind them, I sped up to go as fast as I could until Sapnap pushed me.

I slammed my head against the side of the door and blinked a few times since my vision was blurry.

'Can you walk, please?' Sapnap screamed at me, pushing me so hard that I fell out of the bus onto the stone ground. I climbed up slowly, looking at my pants that were dirty and almost torn. I couldn't wash them and I didn't have the money to buy a new one so I tried my hardest to wipe the dirt away.

'Just wash it or buy a new one, dumbass,' Sapnap laughed at me.

'Not everyone is rich like you,' I mumbled quietly, straightening my back as I was ready to walk away.

'So you can't even buy a new pair of jeans?' Sapnap chuckled. Clay laughed too now but I saw a hurt look in his eyes.

'Aww, are you poor?' Clay grinned as I tried to get away from them. 'I guess it's easier to starve when you don't have food anyway.'

Sapnap laughed loudly after Clay's comment and he pushed me again. 'Do you want us to rip all your clothes for you? Then you can't go to school anymore and I think that's a win-win for both of us.'

I was scared he'd actually do it and I started running to get away from them. I turned around for a second and saw that Sapnap was following me, then he bumped into me while I was running very fast.

I fell onto the ground again, but this time with such a high speed that I hit my head on the floor, causing my vision to turn black.
